Next up on Tomi & Kesh’s NoZzo Music, Barcelona-based artists Marvin Kraemer and Kenzø make their label debut with ‘To The Funk’. Featuring two original tracks, the EP also comes with remixes from Craig & Grant Gordon, as well as Greck B & Anko A.

Kicking into the EP, ‘To The Funk’ is a gleaming example of rolling Tech House. As the name suggests, funky and full of groove throughout. Crisp percussion and creative fills sit well with its punchy drums and smooth sub bass melody that drive the track forwards.

Prolific UK talents Craig & Grant Gordon’s remix of ‘To The Funk’ turns up the heat and tempo somewhat. Fusing pacy Tech and Deep House flavours, its combination of robust rhythm and dreamy melodic factors make for an enjoyably raw red-do of the original.

‘Get Spinnin’’ keeps a more uptempo line as Marvin Kraemer and Kenzø go two for two with cadent terrace heaters. Thumping drums and rambunctious percussive grooves bounce of its strong and catchy bassline melody, breaking out into climactic moments throughout.

Keeping their foot on the gas, Greck B and Anko A’s remix of ‘Get Spinnin’’ is an impressive bed of instrumental constructions and a beating heart of funk-inspired energy. Scattered hats and perc strikes create a powerful ripple that ricochets off its electric drums and bass combo from start to finish.

Quite possibly the most notorious release to hit our catalogue thus far, LA based Tech Avenue present the Stuttgart duo Tomi & Kesh and Italian rising star Alessandro Diruggiero. Heavily regarded by many in the Tech House universe, the ‘Nozzo’ party front men have been hailed for their distinctive and captivating audio signature - which has garnered the attention of many of the industry’s big hitters. 

Since forming, the Tech House pair has gone on to release with a wealth of highly commended imprints. EPs on Deeperfect, Kaluki, Under No Illusion, NoExcuse, La Pera, SK Recordings and more have seen their music championed by the likes of Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Steve Lawler, wAFF, Dennis Cruz among others. Outside of the studio, Tomi & Kesh are constantly building on their reputation - frequently supporting some of the most popular artists in today’s underground dance music world across some of Europe’s most favored club spaces. They have appeared alongside Paco Osuna, Davide Squillace, Neverdogs, Marco Faraone and many more, with the list of impressive clubland features growing year on year.

"Keep the E" gets off to an energetic start, with an array of pounding drum work and swingy grooves. Its rolling sub-bass takes you on a journey whilst a hip-hop vocal hook cuts through the heavy flow. "U Did Me Wrong” follows with a  jacking flow, energetic female vocal hook, and a pristine sounding snare top combo. Both tracks are ripe for the peak segment.

However, if that's not enough, the big surprise on this release is the appearance of Bulgarian born Alessio Bianchi. The boys of Tech Avenue were nothing but ecstatic upon hearing that Alessio would be contributing a remix.  Alessio has seen support from DJs like wAFF, Luigi Madonna, Neverdogs, Stefano Noferini, Joseph Capriati, Joey Daniel, Antonio Pica, Marco Faraone, Sebastian Ledher, Paco Osuna, OXIA and many more.

House Keepers Records ends another fine year with a second superb Various Artists compilation. Don’t Forget To Go Home features eight bustling tracks of club-ready house from label regulars and newer associates such as Rob Stillekens, Diego Lima, and Fenky.

Florida based House Keepers Records hails from Orlando but has now built a global reputation. As well as throwing popular block parties, the label also brings something fresh to the US scene through its carefully curated radio shows and releases. The team behind it has a forward-thinking vision that has
injected real innovation, not least with March's essential 12 track collection, Bad Boyz.

Slugg featured on that compilation and kicks this one off in style with 'For Da Peeps.' It has a driving drum and bass combo with classic vocal samples lighting up the groove with real attitude. Too Heavy Crew live up to their name with the raw and edgy tech house of 'Gimmie,' and Fenky's 'Raymond' sinks
into a deep, well-swung groove that's warmed through with neon chords.
Copasetic is another returning artist whose brilliant '2 Step' builds the pressure with kinetic drum programming and chattery vocals. There is a real force in 'Properly' by Diego Lima and another timeless vocal sample that really stands the track out. Jay Roman offers the excellently punchy house of 'Shake Baby' whilst Phoenix Jagger's 'Run Away' is a sax-laced house tune with soul and party spirit. Rob Stillekens closes down with a stripped-back basement sound, and seductive vocal on the fantastic 'Try To Understand.'

‘Don’t Forget To Go Home’ is an explosive collection of high-impact house sounds from the ever-excellent House Keepers Records.

We made it to our 50th Tech Avenue catalogue release! 2021 has been a year of tremendous growth for the label, and above all else we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our listeners who have helped us come this far. As a token of our appreciation, we bless you with the eargasmic sounds of DJ Fronter, straight from Santiago de Cali, Colombia. Prominently influenced by tribal percussion, he began in the world of dance music by crafting a defined style which merged organic, abstract and digital sounds that complimented his Latin essence. Since 2018, DJ Fronter has displayed great promise with his major hit record “Brr Baby Brr", which debuted on Jaime Jones' label "Hot Creations". He went on to have major signings with SOLA, Mindshake, Stereo Productions, Elrow Music, Circus Recordings, Toolroom Records and many more. 

The Lady EP blends a rich vocal full of energy with a beautiful melodic backdrop filled with chord stabs and deep bass lines. The track is reminiscent of Latin house music prevalent in the 90's. Huge renditions of the original track were remixed by rising Romanian producer, Brad Brunner - and LA underground prospects, Swavé & Hitta.
