I aimed to capture the essence of Amapiano by combining unique samples and intricate drum patterns to create a dynamic and captivating musical experience.

The song begins with a melodic sample sourced from traditional African instruments. The sample is looped, creating a hypnotic and rhythmic foundation that instantly sets the Amapiano mood. Gradually, additional layers of samples are introduced, including distant vocal snippets and ambient sounds of nature, adding depth to the sonic landscape.

The drum patterns play a pivotal role in the track's energy. The kick drum is punchy, forming a solid backbone for the rhythm. A syncopated snare pattern adds a nice bounce.

Infusing sampling influences like J Dilla , Premier & Pete rock with an Afro-Carib upbeat groove; He creates a vibe for just about any day to day activity. You can hear core elements from genres like amapiano , kwaito & afro pop all implemented in his percussive rhythms and swings. He was born a middle child in the early 90's to Dominican Parents shortly after migrating to New York.
