I named this track **Pronoia** because it captures the pulse of the entire album—this quiet, defiant belief that the universe is conspiring in my favor, even when the evidence is ambiguous, even when the sky is gray.

🔍 **Etymology**:  
The word *pronoia* comes from the Greek *pro-* meaning “before” or “in advance,” and *noia* from *nous*, meaning “mind.” Originally, it referred to divine providence—forethought or care from the gods. But in modern usage, it’s flipped into a kind of spiritual optimism: the sense that unseen forces are arranging things for your benefit. It’s the opposite of *paranoia*, where you feel the world is out to get you. *Pronoia* is the feeling that the world is secretly rooting for you.

🌫️ **Backstory**:  
I was living in a kind of liminal space—physically, emotionally, creatively. The house was rented out, I was in the RV out back, surrounded by the ordinary chaos of bills, school schedules, and the hum of survival. But underneath all that, there was this gravitational pull toward something deeper. I kept noticing these strange synchronicities: a lyric I wrote months ago echoing in a stranger’s voice, a missed appointment leading to a breakthrough conversation, a raven—white as bone—appearing in a dream the night before I finished the mix.

And *Pronoia* is the heartbeat of that rarity—the belief that even in the margins, even in the mystery, there’s a benevolent design.
