Inspired by the German techno-minimal and micro-house school and deeply influenced by the sound of Eastern Europe, Simone Adinolfi is an eclectic artist who blends shades of several musical genres into a single minimal frame, always trying to keep the groove complex and consistent. After years as resident of many collectives in his hometown Milan he founded Sound Bakery in 2016, continuing to share the decks with some of the best artists of the minimal scene.

His versatility along with a constant music research took him to play in many countries around Europe and outside. In 2019 Simone gave birth to his vinyl-only label No Rush with the purpose of covering the multiple faces of his musical vision and creativity, releasing music from him and artists he values the most. This podcast session was recorded live @ Sound Bakery x Picnic on 21st November 2021

However, I am still very fortunate and grateful to have DJ'd at one of the camps on Esplanade at the burn this year.

That set, I just played from the heart with no thought of recording

Accomplished producer, Phil Kieran, makes his Hotflush debut with a two-track ode to hedonistic flight. “Yes I’m going there” goes the lead track’s refrain. Where ‘there’ is, who knows? But you can enjoy a soundtrack of sun-kissed piano chords and heraldic horns on the way. As Kieran ‘gets away’ on the A2, the mood takes a turn for the dark. Lost in the early hours, pockets full of miniature plastic bags and no money…thank fuck for the throb of that kick in these lonely but exciting times.

Richy Ahmed and Ryan Elliott, offer their interpretations of Kieran’s bacchanalia on the B-side with the former creating a barnstorm of minor stabs and attitude, and the latter tearing it up, down, left and right with his broken beats and wailing vox. Gone there. Got Away.

Next up in our Stripped Back Sessions series is Raz, a shining light in the UK's house scene. Always bringing smiles with his emphatic energy and groovy riddims, we are honoured to have a brand new mix filled with unreleased gems from him to present to you for your dancing pleasures.

Since 2020, he has been running a creative hub and label Tamiras, while also crafting his sound within his productions and getting a reputable status in the minimal house scene across Europe. He has had various releases on labels such as Puls Records, Micronica & Juuz, with his latest release coming out on Silat Beksi's Modeight Records.

Stripped Back Sessions 004 - Raz

Filipe Rodrigues, também conhecido como Lipp, é um DJ e produtor brasileiro que vem se destacando na cena eletrônica desde 2021. Com um som que combina minimal, minimal techno, deep house e rominimal, ele vem refinando sua identidade musical desde 2012, até o lançamento de seu projeto solo.

Seus lançamentos incluem o remix de "Etzu Mahkayah Weya" pela Between Dimensions, o EP "Puro Suco" pela mesma gravadora, o álbum "Deep Fire LP" lançado pela Tzinah Records, e o mais recente EP "Outro Dia no Paraíso" pela Not Allowed. A faixa "Cira, Regina e Nana" destaca-se como sua produção com o maior número de suportes, sendo a primeira a receber apoio de Barac, que constantemente inclui suas produções em seus sets atuais.

Lipp já se apresentou em eventos importantes como Parrots-PR, Puzzle-PR, Simti e Street Flow-MT, e tem sido apoiado por grandes nomes da cena como Barac, Bryz, Lukea e Luciano.

Bogdan P. is a DJ based in Bucharest, RO, whose passion for the music itself made him join the scene recently. His sound draws influence from the minimalistic accents of the genres he plays, setting aside a special vibe alongside his signature style.
