Narda "NADIVA DEVEREAUX" Malcolm was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica.  She grew up in the hills of Roehampton, Montego Bay with her mother, grandmother and five other siblings.  Nadiva started singing at age 6 at church, then at Flankers All age School. She started writing songs and poetry by the time she was Ten years old and started entering contests and different competitions for her school. 

Nadiva joined her high school choir as soon as she was enrolled in Anchovy High in Montego Bay. She graduated from Anchovy high school in Montego Bay and at age seventeen went to work in the hotel industry as an Entertainment Coordinator and Cabaret Singer. She has performed at the now defunct Breezes Hotel Montego Bay, Point Village Negril, several Sandals Resort properties, Grand lido Resort Negril, Ritz Carlton Jamaica, The Wyndham Rose Hall and the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, to name a few. 
In 2002 she entered the Jamaica Festival Song Competition and was placed 3rd in the island. She has entered and won several local contests and prizes in Jamaica.  Nadiva also won the Ms. Anchovy in 2000 and Ms. St James Festival queen pageant in 2005. While in college she majored in Hospitality Management with a minor in Music Production and Performance. In 2007, she graduated with honors from Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio, then from Virginia State University in 2009 and the University of Delaware in 2012. 
Nadiva's talents are not limited to singing and song writing. She also makes some of the beats for her songs. Her repertoire consists of R & B, easy listening Reggae, Dance Hall Reggae, pop and more. She is blessed with perfect pitch, a warm sultry charismatic voice and the ability to write a complete song in less than an hour. These gifts have aided her in caressing thousands of ears with her unique voice, both locally and internationally.  She has performed at the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival in Queens New York and In Florida.
