The Rewatchers take a deep dive into an ethical quagmire, learn the history of boxing rules, and crown the “best cop in Highlander.”

Raven 1 - Reborn

When Nick sets his sights on Super Mario, an international assassin turned immortal celebrity chef, Amanda must decide whether to confront the evil pasta peddler or leave Nick to an unsavory fate. The Rewatchers try to figure out a Native American subplot, wonder why Mario subcontracts all his hits, and literally yell about the plot holes in this episode.

Raven 2 - Full Disclosure

Searonto is once again terrorized by dweeby old assassins, so Nick must stop an(other) immortal killer by stumbling through an(other) non-mysterious mystery! When Amanda seemingly ignores an old friend’s century long killing spree, Nick takes matters into his own hands and somehow things work out. The Rewatchers fail to keep it short, succeed in identifying Chekhov‘s taser, and attempt to rewrite the motivation for our entirely too evil villain.

Raven 3 - Bloodlines

When Nick somehow gets himself wrapped up in international espionage, he must team up with Amanda to break into the Romanian embassy before the ambassador (who happens to be Bert’s ex?!?) can flee the country with stolen plans for… something. Meanwhile, in the B plot, Amanda kills an immortal statistician off-camera, after doggedly refusing to learn any lessons or grow in any meaningful way. The Rewatchers ponder the origins of Latin music in this show, enjoy some classic 90’s computer nonsense, and try to figure out why Bert is the most powerful man in Searonto.

Raven 4 - Immunity

Quack quack- the Rewatchers are back! Amanda reconnects with her old friend/maybe lover/worst dancing partner to help him solve his son's murder at the hands of crooked government agents (and a ham and shrimp sandwich). The Rewatchers give you a play-by-play on some reused footage, discuss an evil window washer, and wish for a more character-driven story.

Raven 5 - So Shall Ye Reap

Welcome to Highlander Rewatched, the podcast where we rewatch and reexamine the entire Highlander TV Series, one episode at a time. In the pilot episode, Duncan receives a visit from his first outrageous villain, Slan Quince, and must team up with his mentor Connor to stop him. Join the Rewatchers, as they share what first drew them to Highlander, try to figure out the rules of the game, and discuss the connection between the Highlander Movies and the TV series.

1 - 1 The Gathering

Antics ensue when Richie searches for his long lost father. The Rewatchers try to figure out where Duncan comes from, sort out Richie’s adoption history, and wonder why his dad is obsessed with Russian Dolls.

1 - 2 Family Tree

When one of Richie’s friends mysteriously dies, Duncan suspects that his old friend Kiem Sun may be responsible.  The Rewatchers try to understand Duncan’s moral compass, enjoy some fantastic sword play, and celebrate St. Arnold’s Day—the Patron Saint of Tough Guys.

1 - 3 The Road Not Taken

When one of Duncan’s immortal friends is killed, and a passing veteran with PTSD is blamed, Duncan infiltrates a town of hillbillies to get answers. The Rewatchers wonder if this episode was based on Rambo, piece together why Duncan’s friend was killed at all, and take a crack at rewriting the episode.

1 - 4 Innocent Man

Joan Jett pretends to be a fledgling immortal in order to infiltrate Duncan's life and seduce Richie... It's gross. The Rewatchers unpack Joan Jett's plan, discuss the episode's music selection, and try to forget Richie's make out sounds. 

1 - 5 Free Fall

When a group of evil painters takeover Seacouver's courthouse—with Richie and Tess inside—Duncan must do his best John McClane impression and save the day. The Rewatchers uncork this bottle episode, wonder if there is any truth to Duncan's fairy tale, and try to figure out why half the characters in this episode even exist.

1 - 6 Bad Day In Building "A"

When Tess is kidnapped by Caleb Cole, an amorous backwoodsman (played by Marc Singer of Beastmaster fame), Duncan must get in touch with his wild side to track Caleb through the Great North Woods. The Rewatchers discuss Richie's hatred of nature, enjoy the episode's soundtrack, and marvel at Beastmaster's incredible southern accent.

1 - 7 Mountain Men

When a sadistic surgeon (played by Joe Pantoliano, known for the Matrix and Memento) witnesses Duncan's immortal healing factor, Duncan must use the magic of computers to escape the mad doctor's clutches. The Rewatchers get a free opera lesson, make a software upgrade, and fire the world's worst receptionist. 


1 - 8 Deadly Medicine

After Richie's old friend Nikki, and her three year-old daughter, get caught up with an immortal coke dealer, Duncan must confront his old communist rival Alexi while Tessa confronts her feelings of motherhood. The Rewatchers see Richie go berserk, receive an immortal PSA, and try to figure out where the heck Seacouver is. 

1 - 9 The Sea Witch


When Tessa witnesses the immortal police chief of Seacouver throw a fellow artist off a bridge, Tessa must solve the case and stay one step ahead of the killer. The Rewatchers criticize Tessa's bogus art, discuss the best immortal job, and try to figure out the villain's circuitous plan. 


1 - 12 Eyewitness

After Duncan's mentor Darius is threatened by a powerful ancient immortal, Duncan musters the power of hope and training montages to bring down a superior foe. The Rewatchers discuss the moral effect of a quickening, Mac's role in the Napoleonic War, and the unceremonious send off of Rando McFarland. 

1  -  13 Band Of Brothers

After a group of killer mimes terrorize Paris, Duncan must stay one step ahead of the police and an immortal assassin. The Rewatchers discuss Richie's taste in art, try to figure out why Tessa likes Duncan, and drop some serious absinthe knowledge. 

1 - 14 For Evil's Sake

After a fine young cannibal robs a jewelry store using deadly nerve gas, Duncan drives the immortal robber crazy by foiling his plan to gas Tessa's art show... And by chopping off his hand. The Rewatchers untangle Darius's religious beliefs, discuss the role of dismemberment in the game, and are grossed out by Richie and Tessa's relationship.

1 - 15 For Tomorrow We Die

After the circus comes to town, Duncan reconnects with his former lover, Amanda, who sells him out to the villainous immortal Zachary Blaine. The Rewatchers handle way too much innuendo, enjoy Richie's first trip to the circus, and struggle to figure out the rules on 2v1 fights. 

1 - 18 The Lady And The Tiger

It’s Home Alone, Highlander Edition! When a diplomat’s son assaults the stepdaughter of an immortal, Duncan must set a series of absurd traps to defend the little jerk from an army of mercenary goons. The Rewatchers discuss a useless flashback, celebrate Richie’s “Big Star” jacket, and consider Duncan’s return to killing mortals.

1 - 21 Nowhere To Run

In the season 1 finale, when a mysterious group of mortal nerds hunts down immortals, Pirate Duncan must team up with his old friend Fitz to track them down. The Rewatchers hear a who, discuss the moral implications of the prize, and discuss the impact of Darius on the world of Highlander. 

1 - 22 The Hunters

In the first episode dedicated to the Highlander movie, the Rewatchers discuss their introduction to the original Highlander, research the cast, and try to unpack the movie from the perspective of a first time watcher.

Highlander The Movie 1 - 1

In the highly anticipated premier of Season 2, Duncan must leave Paris to find Darius's killer through the power of zip codes and flashbacks. The Rewatchers consider a run for congress, purchase some laser surveillance equipment, and get weirded out by the chemistry between Richie and Tessa. 

2 - 1 The Watchers

When Richie thwarts an attempt to assassinate the British ambassador with one of Rico's famous chili dogs, he must learn to fight before the immortal Sheena Easton takes his head. The Rewatchers grapple with Tessa's departure (and Mac's whiskey fueled rebound), laugh as Richie gets pummeled, and learn Sheena Easton's special move in a sweet montage.

2 - 5 Eye For An Eye

In a very special bonus episode, the Rewatchers sit down with the immortal Adrian Paul to discuss the evolution of Duncan MacLeod, what it was like to take over the mantle of the Highlander from Christopher Lambert, the rigors of shooting, charity work, and so much more! Evil Dunc-y arrives in France to star in some incredibly rape-y cuckolding scenarios, but Methos saves him by dipping him in a magic green puddle. The Rewatchers try to figure out if Mr. Burns has magic powers, cheer at a MacLeod Mirror Match, and do some heavy Highlander rewrites.

4-14 Deliverance

Mac is called to the police station to evaluate an antique sword... that’s about all that happens in this utterly stakes-less turd. Duncan uses this opportunity to make a series of wild assumptions about Japanese detectives who may or may not exist, draw dubious legal conclusions, and reminisce about the time he was captured by a cruel samurai in Japan with a white-guy-Master-Splinter voice. The Rewatchers break down Mac’s reckless museum arson, discuss the origins of Dunky’s catchphrase, and hope that the Seacouver PD implements a suicide watch because Duncan is so needlessly mean.

Big Finish 1-3 The Secret of the Sword

Mac and his fencing buddy make a lunch date, only to be interrupted by an assassination attempt by arrow...or is it crossbow bolt? The Rewatchers talk hairstyles, get into some marriage drama, and discuss what true justice really looks like...heavy! 6 - 8 Justice

In the final episode of the series, Mac continues to explore the Duncan-less universe, where Methos returns to his horsemen ways, Richie goes out as a sniveling weenie, and Tess leads a perfectly happy life that the show tries desperately to convince us is secretly awful. Oh- and then Mac beats O’Rourke (remember that guy?) and the quickening triggers a montage. The Rewatchers break down what they were hoping for from the finale, pitch a major season six rewrite, and unpack their emotions as the series draws to a close.

6 - 13 Not To Be
