I'm very proud of this song, it took a while to write and get just the way I wanted  it, result I think is beautiful. "Lilith's Anthem" is a profound folk narrative that chronicles a gender transition through the powerful metaphor of the mythological Lilith. The song traces the journey of Mo, from childhood confusion and adolescent anguish to a breaking point of desperate need, mapping this personal struggle onto the story of Lilith—Adam's first wife, who refused subjugation and fled Eden to claim her autonomy. This parallel frames Mo's experience not as a new creation, but as the arduous return of a suppressed, powerful, and authentic self, smashing the chains of expectation imposed by family, society, and biology.

The lyrics move with devastating specificity through key moments: the unsettling "stirring" at age twelve, the symbolic "wardrobe appearing" as a portal to hidden truth, the need to escape a life that feels like an "Iranian Jail," and the pivotal, quiet liberation of trying on heels in an Amsterdam cafe. These intimate details build toward an instrumental break that serves as the transformative moment itself—a wordless shedding of skin. The narrative then triumphantly shifts to Lilith, who stands firmly with her "parts now in kilter," seeing her true reflection and flapping her "gold wings, no longer in fear."

The song's masterstroke is its final choral coda. A girls' choir chants the syllables "mo, mo, mo / li, li, li," performing a sacred act of sonic alchemy. This communal voice does not erase the past but harmonizes it with the present, weaving the old name and the new into a single anthem. It transforms a solitary journey into a celebrated hymn, representing both Lilith's welcome into a chosen sisterhood and the ultimate, hard-won integration of a self made whole.
