ambient live set at Halle am Berghain - New Year 2024

The recording of my set from La Nature Festival, recorded 12-3PM on a glorious sunny Sunday on the 23rd of June 2024.

This was one of my favourite sets this summer, I was so honoured to be playing before the legendary DJ Nobu, and spent time preparing for this set gathering bright~dubby~daytime techno with a zippy flair and uplifting energy 🧚

The set features lots of tracks I’ve been enjoying this summer, including music by: Tsott, GiGi FM, Azu Tiwaline, Vladw, Al Wootton, Sindh, Luigi Tozzi, Konduku, Stojche, Ness, Ruman, Rene Wise, Fireground, Forest On Stasys, Kohra & Midnight Traffic +++

The woodland location of this Belgian festival was stunning, and playing on this delicious Lambda Labs sound system was such a treat. Thanks again to Julien @noname_community & Daniel[i] @danieli_whs for the invitation to join this year’s edition 🧡🌲

﻿Based in Prague, @yomomsmokescrack has been shaking up the Czech club scene with her fearless, genre-blurring selections as well as her DIY spirit. As a resident at lovely @ankali , she knows how to take a dancefloor on a deep, mental ride.

"This one starts off slow—real slow," she says. "I wanted to create a journey that takes its time, building layer by layer until it hits that deep, psychedelic techno zone. It’s a reminder that, just like in life, the best things don’t happen right away. If you’re patient, the payoff is worth it."

A night shaped by deep cuts, subtle shifts and tactile Techno!

House of Booo presents: rauh.
Based in Hanover, rauh. is a record label founded in 2011 by Session Restore. Since then, it has been a consistent force in the electronic music scene.
With nine vinyl releases to date rauh. continues to make its mark with carefully curated sounds.
The label also runs the podcast series "rauh_x", showcasing unique sets, and hosts various showcases and events, currently under the name "rauh im Indiego."

After being introduced to his first techno parties in the Berlin/Brandenburg area at the end of the 90s, it immediately became clear to the then-teenager that Session Restore would start DJing. In his sets, he enjoys blending timeless classics with new pieces, skillfully guiding his audience on a journey through techno, dub techno, and house. Beyond DJing, he is active as a producer, with over a dozen releases on vinyl labels such as Mojuba/a.r.t.less, Separate Skills, and his own label, rauh. Through his label, he hosts the mix series "rauh_x" and the event series "rauh im Indiego," which has been enriching Hanover's nightlife with artists like Rødhåd, Vince Watson, Mareena, Akua, and many more.

Very proud to announce the first ever instalment of our new Wormholes Mix Series featuring a live recording of the @annx-anna-whomp and @wednesday_dj set that closed proceedings at the party we threw with @escalator-to-nowhere in Bristol in May. These two hold a very special place in the hearts of UC ever since they played a transcendent b2b at our Amniothèque stage at Shambala festival last year. This time was no different. Locked together like two cogs they wheeled out a heady concoction of percussive prog and dark, hypnotic techno. This is a wormhole to get lost in.

Amsterdam’s Ratherlost crew has spent the past few years perfecting the art of the marathon rave. Their home base is Lofi, a cavernous warehouse where sound, light, and visuals fuse into long-haul journeys that stretch well past the 18-hour mark. But epic runtimes mean nothing without the right hands at the controls, and Ratherlost has proven it knows how to curate, pace, and execute like pros.

Lofi’s two-floor setup allows for shifting moods: daylight hours wander through deep, dubby techno, slowly morphing into faster, syncopated rhythms as night tightens its grip. Pacing is everything in a space like this. And when it comes to the craft of pacing, few do it better than Bas Dobbelaer.

Bas is one of our favorite DJs for a reason. He understands that a warm-up set is an architecture rather than just background noise. It shapes the room, sets the tone, and welcomes dancers into the story. The mix we’re thrilled to share today was recorded live at Ratherlost’s Easter Sunday session at Lofi, where Bas shared the bill with artists like Aaron J, Na Nich & Vera Logdanidi, Aurora Halal, DVS1, upsammy, Occa, Agonis, Dasha Rush, Seb H, and Oscar Mulero. Quite the roster.

In the face of that stacked lineup, Bas delivered a masterclass in restraint and elegance. His three-hour set unfolds like a novel, tracing dub techno’s DNA across the past two decades. The vibe is timeless, spacious, and beautifully measured, a perfect example of how to warm up a warehouse without blowing the doors off too soon.
