Spirit in the Sky - S1E40

In Episode 41 of the “High Regard Show,” “Generation Snowflake” (not to be confused with "Operation Snowflake"), we acknowledge last week's tragic events before ripping into the weakest group of Americans ever spawn! How did we go from a country that put children to work in coal mines to a raising a society whose majority has their heads in the sand? Kids are actually trying to dictate what colleges teach based on things that won't get them upset, thanks in part to a domino effect caused by parents who wanted their kids' lives to be better than what they went through.

Congrats (insert slow clap here) you did it ... You made life so easy on your children that they don't even want to hear about the struggles that got us to this place we are now. How are we supposed to stop this current slide into insanity if today's children are being bred to do as they please because they are the most important thing in the world? Maybe by showing 100 puppies playing in a field with a picnic basket, but we are a podcast, and our pictures don't translate well through sound, so this is the best we could do this week.

Generation Snowflake - S1E41

In Episode 45 of the “High Regard Show,” “Man vs. Snake," we chat with Andrew Seklir and Tim Kinzy, the filmmakers behind the documentary "Man vs Snake: The Long and Twisted Tale of Nibbler," which thankfully for Nikki's ophidiophobia has to do with the arcade game "Nibbler" and not a real s-word.

The film tells the story of Tim McVey (notice it's spelled different than the OKC bomber), who with one quarter became the first person to score more than 1 billion points on an arcade game as he played more than 44 hours straight. Fast-forward 25 years to when he needs to decide whether to defend his record — which garnered him a day named after himself — or become a footnote in competitive gaming history.

We also learn which games Tom and Nikki fancy themselves record-breakers on and oh so much more!

Rock Critic-S3E116

In Episode 118 of the “High Regard Show,” “Vote Run Lead,” we talk to Erin Vilardi, founder and executive director of VoteRunLead, an organization that teaches women across the country how to run for office. Konacation - S3E120

In Episode 121 of the “High Regard Show,” “Becca Blackwell,” we talk to trans comedian Becca Blackwell. Fantasy Island - S3E132

Episode 133 of the "High Regard Show," "Oh to Be a Dog," has gone to the dogs! We talk to Shannon Sardella Arnold, a lifelong dog lover who founded dog-walking and dog-sitting service Oh to Be a Dog in Los Angeles in 2010. She has since expanded the business to New York City — and added wedding, proposal and engagement services to meet the ever-growing trend of including your dog in your wedding.

Shannon explains the services that Oh to Be a Dog provides for your big day, which includes pet care, pick up, drop off, assistance for those super-cute photos and more, and some valuable things to keep in mind to make sure your dog has just as good a day as you should.

Because Tom thought — and had to share the fact — that he initially thought Shannon was in the business of putting on weddings for dogs with Oh to Be a Dog, we had to skip “The POTSie,” but fear not, the segment will be back next week to cover all the "joys" of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.
