In the grand scale of the universe, we’re each just one of 8 billion people on this planet, and our sun is just one of 100 billion stars in the Milky Way. It’s humbling, but it also makes the depth of our emotions feel even more powerful in contrast; a feeling I’ve tried to capture in this song. 

"SunVioletStar" is about the things that mean the most to us, the ones that shape our world, until a misguided influence causes it all to collapse. It explores that fragility and the process of finding your way back to yourself.

Taken from the album WOLF RENTS BARK, name number 7 in Louder Than War's Top 100 Albums of 2025.

Live, this track has been landing hard. ‘Happy New Year’ charts innocence slipping into disillusionment, with lyrics written under a self-imposed rule of just three syllables per line. It inspired WOLF RENTS BARK, our album title for an age where politician-CEOs cosplay as ‘the guy next door,’ while extracting wealth at a pace. The band are releasing this festive protest song instead of creating more landfill Christmas-themed shit. 

It comes with a video made by the band, released on YouTube on 18th December.

This is the first track that we wrote together. The lyrics describe a personal struggle with mental health and the barriers that we put up to keep us safe during difficult times. It was recorded in Maryhill, Glasgow and the sound combines our favourite elements of late 90s and early 00s US indie/college rock while staying true to where we're from.
