This is an album of experimental solo guitar "haikus" I wrote in 2010. I was listening to a lot of Keiji Haino and Autechre at the time, and moving away from the band-centric, progressive rock music I had written with my old band Blue Sky Theory. 

It was something of a rebirth for me as a writer, and I was very proud of it... but alas, it coincided with a nervous breakdown and I never shared it with anyone outside of a few friends and family. I remember fantasizing about dropping it off anonymously in Keiji Haino's hands with a thank you note attached.

The title is a reference to a Yukio Mishima book/movie, and means "conflagration"

This was a companion piece to "later that night" (in fact, they largely share the same beat), two playful little odes to new jack swing. they're both early songs i wrote before i got into max/msp, written mainly on the zaquencer

This was written for a little contest at r/synthesizers last year. All nord lead 3, which is great for chaotic arpy stuff like this. 

As the title suggests, I was watching a lot of Little Witch Academia at the time, haha
