"All Petals Fall"

The first track I've written since my friend Rosie passed away.

It had been a hot and dry summer, the rain hadn't fallen for weeks and the ground was parched.

Rosie's last morning was another warm and sunny one, but a couple of hours after she passed away the sky erupted with thunder and the rain poured endlessly. It felt like the world was crying with me.

I recorded the sound of the thunderstorm from that day, you can hear it in this track, along with the sound of my friend purring softly into a microphone (from when she was healthy and happy).

It continued to rain every day for 4 weeks. She was so lucky, or maybe there's a grand cosmic reason to it all. Who knows?

I hope you enjoy the track, anyway. Thank you for listening to me.
