Forthcoming Sept 27th, 2024 WiddFam welcomes Birmingham UK based Lysergene to the Label for his 4 track Dubstep EP featuring electric flowing bass gravitas titled "Powers of a God".


Pushing Fire starts us off with uplifting energy as Powers of a God leads into heavy dark sublines. Skylane transports the listener into an alternate dimension full of vibrant color and harmonic melody. Never Tell wraps up the EP with slow moody grooves and cyberpunk atmos.

"JahYu’s take on 'Grow' (yep, that was a FKOF Free Download too) pays homage to dub culture. Its tsunami-esque waves of basslines push the outer limits, while intricate panning techniques adding extra dimensions to the track's stereo image. Changes in percussive rhythms twist the structure of this remix, dragging us closer to the audial experience that exists purely to lead sound system meditation. 

"The switch in advanced bass lineage makes this a notable free download by the German producer (one he unfortunately submitted too late for the original 'Grow' remix competition). It's one we feel suitably shakes the foundations. A worthy effort! Respect is also due to our Banana Stand Sound fan, Oxóssi and ADP for the original content… The fire still burns."
