A hallmark of Mikrodot's approach to music is a polished, almost clinical finish, and very deliberate choices when it comes to exploring different sonic elements and styles. This EP takes the listener through a range of shadowy and nocturnal themes revolving around low end intensity, through the use of tasteful sound design and creative sampling. The result is a thought provoking sense of nostalgia for the genre's origins, not to mention a heavy nod to the dub world's influence.
