I made this track to remember me those moments spent on that beach-hot-stones admiring the fabulous sunset announcing the beginning of a step in the Dimensions' nights.

I used for that my computer with few sample, a microphone, a bass and a guitar.

Shoreline is a groovy dance-track inspired by jazz and funk. Quite satisfied with the flow and feel. It features one of my favourite sounds, the rhodes piano, accompanied with a funky bass line and some field recordings from a nearby beach. Hope you like it!

Bursting with flavour, Volume 3 of this Tartine Records various is made of 4 producers of different nationalities that come together to serve an international breakfast. Made of 4 delicious tracks that are perfect for dancing, it has been meticulously cooked for demanding dj's.

French local Tartine Records producer @john-tareugram continues to supply the label with his own vision of house music. 'Born Ready' is made of a perfect synthetic melody which John alone has the secret, a powerful bassline, a bouncing drumrack and lovely vocal samples. As B side's first track of Untartined Tapes Volume 3, it sounds fantastically fresh with no concessions. John can surely keep the keys of the label.

John Tareugram - Born Ready

For no 41. in our mix series we call out one of Gothenburg’s most prolific characters in the city’s vibrant underground house music scene. It’s Frankie Statuto - the one-man-band-duderino from Argentina- who this time takes on the honorary task.

It all began more than a decade ago when Frankie started getting obsessed with clubs like Studio 54, Warehouse, The Limelight - and the legendary profiles who were associated with these concepts.
Being a Disco-Edit-Super-Fan-and-Nerd from the get-go, he later also got into Chicago House and Acid which developed his taste and in turn made his sets even more versatile and captivating. Frankie since then has played at Clubs like Output in NYC, Music Box in Lisbon, Glove Party in Barcelona, F12, Laika, Klara Radio in Stockholm among others.
He also shared stage with DJs/producers like Ejeca, Dj Seinfeld, Mount Liberation Unlimited, Mr. Tophat & Art Alfie, Baba Stiltz and has curated some of Gothenburg’s greatest parties (Miilk // Apartment // Wish You Were Queer // HAUS) the last couple of years.

Expect one hour of pulsating Acid and Chicago sounds, that certainly pushes all the right buttons.
