Ante Anušić, artistic name Chuba Chubs, was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1999. He started listening to electronic music in 2017. and in 2019. developed his love for minimal and deep tech. For his first gig, he had the honor of warming up Zagrave open air with his deep tech sound where the main star of the evening was the well-known Berlin techno legend Ellen Allien. Later on he was given the opportunities to play at numerous clubs and organizations like Sound Factory, Krš and Maslina, HTTPS  and many more. In 2020. he started his event series called Moxie Grooves and recently in 2022. gets his first residency at Smooth events. Digging for new music and meeting new people he discovered so many new artists which gave him an inspiration and motivation to start Moxie Grooves mix series in summer 2022.

Two friends from Zagreb, different in style and music approach, team up to create a groovy fusion of minimal and house sounds for the 2nd edition of Moxie Grooves mix series 

Being active on Zagreb underground scene for a few years now, Gjigj mainly keeps his focus on house and it's subgenres, while Nimm takes a turn from rominimal/microhouse to breakbeat, electro, techno and experimental music.

Known by many for his inspiring voyage in the world of music, Len Lewis has created a colourful path for himself which has spanned across multiple decades, as he continues to develop his sound, straining the boundaries of several genres as he goes. Although offering an extensive back catalogue first releasing in ‘93 on Jumpin & Pumpin, which then led to records on the likes of the legendary Swag, and Poodle Records, Lewis is very much about the here and now, with a slew of releases in recent years, the inaugural Deep Sleep Robot, on UK based Real Deal Records, on Lamache’s Discobar, Drifted, Banoffee Pies and several others. The recent flurry of output also consists of some sought after represses that the Londoner originally shared around twenty years ago, tastemakers across the board have been calling out loud for a long time for the releasing of some of Len’s integral back catalogue. The passion has been reignited, and you are all invited.

Growing up in the cultural melting pot we call London, Lewis developed an early taste for music, originally down the classical route, learning to play the violin, and asserting himself in local orchestras. As the teen years progressed the UK native found himself as lead singer of cover bands for Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, before taking the plunge into the rave society at the age of 16. This had a huge impact on the course of the narrative, and immediately Len closed the door of classical, and fully immersed himself into the world of electronic music.

It may or may not be common knowledge but Lewis’ designated name for his sound is, SiTH, Sinister Tech House, claiming it’s mysterious name after a Mixmag reviewer used this description for his music many years ago. “If my hairs stand up when I listen to a track...then it gets the ‘SiTH’ stamp of approval. I am trying to have fun with my music as well as consciously and subconsciously telling the story of life in my reality, in the form of frequencies and energy transference.” he says.

Although other opportunities have arisen during Len’s spiralling quest, the music really does speak for itself, with a dedicated and committed producer at the heart of it all. After becoming disconnected from the artist he wanted to be in the early noughties, Len, turned his focus to family life, this is time he has enjoyed in the build up to his modern day resurrection. A pioneer of underground sounds and an inspiration to all, still carrying the same hunger and desire he was born into the game with.

Gruvi is music producer and DJ , born and grew up Sabac, small town in Serbia. He is mainly focused on house and minimal techno, yet free to express himself in various styles. His passion for music journey and sound exploration began developed at early age. He started his djing career in 2012. and thanks to successful events and acceptance of new sound in his hometown, after short time he played in almost every club in his hometown and towns around. After few years he decided that it’s time to give a shot at the bigger scene. Moving to Belgrade allowed him to explore electronic music scene and get evolve in the most renowned league of producers of Serbia. His assignment was experiencing music in all its forms on bigger playground: making it, playing it, talking about it, dancing to it. After short period, he became recognized as one of leaders of the younger generation of minimal dj scene and after-hour gatherings. He played in almost all well-known clubs with electronic music Half, Dot, Gadost, etc. During his stay in Belgrade, he created and launched Minival, brand for long lasting parties with focus on affirmation of electronic minimal music, giving the chance to feature friends and like-minded artists to express themselves and provide new type of enjoyably gathering for public. The gigs at SaXo afterhours in Basel, would prove seminal for defining his work and sound: minimal house music with an unmistakably organic groove and versatility suited to the dancefloor outcomes. That would be the best way to define his path not only for his sound or the way it gets to others, his devotion to explore its subgenres, so there are no boundaries when it comes to his artistic call. His songs are released on labels Not allowed, Cmok, Brosh, Psicodelica, Puls.

He started going to local partyes at the age of 18 which is when he discovered his love for tech sound. 2 years after that he bought his first controller after which he got interested in vinly and bought a pair of turntables. He had his firsf gig at Mura bar about a month ago and you can also hear him play at Fortica festival where the headliners are Marko Nastić and Aney F.

Don't get fooled by his lack of experience in front of a crowd, Robertescu knows how to bring it! Definitely a promising up-and-coming artist.

Mike.D (DJ and producer)  founder of Salomon Records along with long time friend Lopx, from Juarez Chihuahua, he is one of the new generation talents of DJs and producers from northern Mexico. His music selection and mixing abilities have given him the opportunity to play at Hardpop as a guest DJ for multiple years , Hardpop being one of the best clubs in Mexico and very notated by international DJs. As a producer he is under labels such as Kanja Records, Mezin , BAL, among others which currently set him on the map because of these productions, His music is played by Arapu, Sepp, Crihan, Cosmjn, Maher Daniel, Mihai Pol, Sublee, Vincentiulian, Prichindel, VLf and more

DAMNC was born in September, 1997 in Vigevano, a town near Milan. Is a rising dj/ producer and aspiring audio engineer, influenced from the beginning by Deep and Dub sounds that made possible to 
him to follow his actual Rominimal/Micro-Minimal production style.
Always full of groove and percussions but with a small sort of melodic way that makes his tracks perfectly matched.
A lot of releases in the Minimal Deep scene, with labels like Whoyostro, IWant, Eject and Maison. Then moved to a more underground style influenced by rominimal and microhouse, becoming a part of the romanian label PhonicHouse1. 
Still working with them on productions, remixes and also Mastering Engineer service, which is helpful to grow as a full audio engineer. 
Played in few Italian good clubs alongside great artist and producers, such as Bryz, Yaar kü and Vern.

Roldan, the co-founder of Bose - Spain, is a young DJ based in Madrid where he got his residency at the club called Studio76. He has played in the best clubs and parties in Madrid: FABRIK, Nox Club, Replay Sunset Parties, MiniClub, Studio76, Republik, Specka, Pirandello or Reverse. We have also seen him in other cities and countries: Smooth x HTTPS: event protocol (Zagreb, Croatia),XYZ Underground at Silq Club (Düsseldorf, Germany), OffWeek (Barcelona), Chamán (Almeria) or in Miniclub (Valencia) and festivals such as DEMAC New Year Festival (Madrid), Amazing Summer Festival (Ciudad Real), or Origen (Madrid). He is considered one of the artists with the most present and future influence of the Madrid music scene. On the other hand he has participated in some radio channels such as Loca Fm (Madrid - Ibiza), or White Fm (ClubTantra, Ibiza). He  is characterized by genres like  Deep tech / minimal, minimal house or Micro House, but always with a very groovy essence.

UK underground legend TIJN joins us for 11th episode of our mix series.

Beautifull fusion of groovy minimal/micro house sounds. This mix just hits that G spot.

UK-born TIJN owns vinyl labels; Into The Wizards Sleeve, In Haus Wax, Deep Edition Recordings & self-titled, TIJN, plus various unnamed projects. 
He’s been making house records since 2007 as Martijn, but more recently has adopted the name TIJN after taking on a more direct analog approach in his purpose-built studio.
An accomplished producer as well as dj, TIJN has played alongside renowned selectors such as Sonja Moonear, Nicolas Lutz, Steffi, Arapu, Priku and Dyed Soundorom, each time playing his own particular take on house, breaks & dub techno.  TIJN is continually touring the UK & Europe, playing in numerous venues in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and Barcelona, along with regular spots in Manchester, Liverpool & Leeds, as well as holding a residency for Leftback Records based in Nottingham and a regular feature at the Gottwood & Wigflex festivals’ lineups. 
TIJN also has 3 international tours in the bag spanning North America, Australia & Asia.

For the 13th episode we present you the man who headlined our first event in Zagreb, Pločnik. He is definitely one of the best minimal house producers in Balkan region and a growing figure on global underground scene. 

Tome R is considered one of the rising electronic music talents hailing from Trogir, Croatia. His journey through music first began at the age of 15 where he began to develop his signature sound he is so well-known for. Since then, he has established himself as a DJ, producer and label boss of Sit Down Recordings. His deep and groovy tunes have been picked up by the likes of Priku, Arapu, Archie Hamilton, NTFO, Lee Burridge, Andrey Pushkarev, Maya Jane Coles and much more. As a staple in Ultra Europe based in Split, he has also successfully run label nights based in the same city. He has released internationally on respected labels such as Get Physical Music, Cyclic Records, Monocord Records, Totoyov and Salomon Recordings, to name a few. The perfect balance he creates with smooth harmonies and modern style has peaked the interest of heavy hitters such as Markus Homm, Mihai Popoviciu, Rhadow and Lauhaus who have all remixed his work. His unique creations and refined curations position him as a new wave of talent standing out from the crowd. Dudley has built on a string of residencies across the UK after consolidating his reputation as a resident of the notorious Back To The Future parties. Honing his skills warming up for the likes of Terry Francis, Phil Weeks, Eddie Richards and Brett Johnson subsequently opening the door to an international circuit with gigs in Mexico for Comunite festival, as well as appearing on The Boiler Room, and at other well¬ known clubs such as the Sisyphos, Weekend club, Golden Gate, the now closed Space Ibiza & Griessmuehle in Berlin as well has just completing his debut North America tour, with dates in for NYC, Washington DC, San Francisco, Chicago, Vancouver and Seattle.
As much at home in the studio as he is in front of a pair of turntables, releasing a steady string of music both individually and collaboratively with artists such as David Gtronic & TIJN, in addition to appearances on Leftback, Pleasure Zone, Curtea Veche , Ovum, Little Helpers, Vekton Black, IK7.

Still in his tender early 20's and after just 4 years of being immersed in the scene… Jake’s immense achievements have included: a Beatport #1, multiple chart placements / homepage features, 4 tracks supported on BBC Radio 1 national radio & selling out 2 Vinyl releases independently. In the realm of production he has worked with the likes of; Terry Francis, Orlando Voorn, David Scuba, Damolh33 & Mr.C to name a few. 

Jake holds a DJ residency for both Superfreq + FUMP & has played with the legendary Wiggle crew for their unforgettable anniversary at The Cause. He has also played at Fabric 4 times in the past year supporting the likes of; Joseph Capriati, Joris Voorn, Lily Palmer, Kölsch, Darius Syrossian, Saytek, Max Chapman, Alan Fitzpatrick, Chloé Robinson & many more. In fact… to be precise Jake was snapped up for 26 gigs by 17 different promoters over the course of 2022 alone! 

The unique style Jake brings to the ‘underground’ scene seems to be the perfect bridge between tech houses original grass roots... and where it is now heading in modern day times!

With her infectious beats and mesmerizing melodies, CosmicEve has taken the underground club scene in Belgrade by storm. Her performances have graced the stages of renowned venues, captivating audiences with her unique sound and impeccable mixing skills.

Quelaan is a Bristol based producer/DJ, aiming his sound at lovers of deep minimal techno and house. He is a resident DJ and producer for Eject Records U.K. 

Capturing our attention with his interesting production style, Quelaan is a good example of a producer with a more modern approach to music blending house and deep techno together.

We decided that it's time for fresh stuff on our podcast series next year so we're gonna end this one with some good old ro-minimal vinyl only vibes from Zagreb. We welcome D°gree!

Some people need 360 degrees to spin their head around their body. To spin your mind though, only one could be enough.

D°gree is an underground DJ, a vinyl collector, and a passionate crate digger on an ongoing quest to find the gems hidden in the lower ranges of the sound spectrum. Some of them can be found in his carefully crafted mixes, while others can be caught at the right time, at the right place, often meaning under the fat sound system. While his primary genre isn't  strictly defined, a description like "Flowing Deep" nicely sums it up.

For the last few years he's been spinning records in Zagreb's infamous clubs like SF , Masters or Aquarius, releasing tracks, producing dubby tech sounds and expanding his vinyl collection.

D°gree's deep/dub techno production is available on netlabels such as Kopoc, Energostatic and Deep Electronics.

Greenlight is a collective of underground electronic music enthusiasts from Croatia with focus to promote underground culture through music, spatial and visual design.The driving force behind Greenlight are its resident artists: Andreas, Grenco, Ian Staraj, Andrija Mlacovic, and Ivan Erjavac.

Founded in Gorski kotar, region dubed ‘grean heart’ of Croatia, Grenlight’s vibe is characterized by lush plant decorations glowing under vibrant green lights, consistently carrying a touch of their home’s charm to every event.

Hosting renowned names like Per Hammar, Kepler, Kassian, AR:TE, and many others, their events primarily center around the Rijeka region, featuring notable projects such as 360º in Pogon Kulture, nights at Crkva Club, Lakeside on Lokve lake, residency in Portun Club, and more.

In addition to event organization, Greenlight records and shares DJ sets on YouTube, aiming to intertwine the beauty of Croatia's nature with electronic music. In its brief existence, Greenlight has garnered an enthusiastic audience with innovative ideas, solidified by winning the Ambasador Award for 'Collective of the Year.'

Will Vickers is a producer/ DJ, born and raised in Leeds, UK. He currently lives between Stockholm and New York City. 

His extensive travels have allowed him to amass a record collection from around the world, and his background in fine art photography and drumming allows for him to have a multifaceted appreciation for music. 

His taste is firmly rooted in the varied, strange and at times overlooked corners of house and techno.

Moray is a young talent from the Canary Islands. DJ and producer based in Barcelona and head of the Focus On Egoless label. Moray has made his journey an intense path of passionate steps. In his collection of releases for Exarde, Honne Music, UFO Series, Colors Of Crocus and his own label, we find the vibrant and full of light energy he gives off when creating music. Stockholm, Ibiza, Madrid, London, Gran Canaria, his homeland and now Barcelona, are some of the cities where Moray has been leaving his touches in the purest way possible based on rhythms impregnated with house, techno, old school and electro records in every set.

Coming from Macedonia, Skopje, a longtime music lover who shares a passion for the general concept of how the sound works. He finds utmost freedom in music production, from which the desire for creating music in many different styles arises, having been released under several aliases. Pirka, Satya, Afterme, Logos, Zingiber Audio and Welter are just a few of the long list of labels, under which he releases his music
Son Kota is his latest project alongside Blagoj Rambabov, where the music goes mostly on vinyl. Kota's music can be found on Druzhba, Handcrafted, OGE, Afterme and more labels to come in the next period..

His music and artistic creativity is also shared through HAUZ and Pirka, in which he takes part as an active member and co founder.
