This mix is tribute to Summer & Fall of 2014. The pool party at FnF Summer Campout. Dirtybird BBQ on Treasure Island on the most perfect San Francisco summer day. Getting the wild idea to throw a party "Baby Rave 2014" (s/o to #gx3 crew). All those nights on the steamy sweaty dance floors. Then walking out of after hours in the early sun-filled morning (sunglasses are a must!). So many great memories! ♥

The moët was flowing. The neighbors complained. The cops showed up. Then the cops showed up again and gave us a ticket!

I played for 5 hours, but got this edit down to just under 3 hours. It was quite a challenge with all of the interruptions, but I finally got into a groove. There's a couple of fucks up in the recording. Oh well! This starts off with tech house / techno till about 01:30:00 where we go deeper. :P

Had the privilege to play a "good morning" set at Disco Chateau https://www.facebook.com/DiscoChateau (3:30 & D) @ Burning Man 2015.09.05. The "cuddle puddle" is this huge tent filled with giant teddy bears, where everyone is lounging about. The vibe was similar to what you find at a pool party. They let me play for 2.5 hours! Sadly the first 25 minutes aren't accounted for due to a battery malfunction. I had to use the xy microphone on the recorder because I couldn't get the record output on the mixer working properly (blame the playa dust because it gets into everything!). You'll hear some people talking on bullhorns from across the street. It isn't that bad and definitely gives you a feel for life on the playa!

Sometimes the stars align and you walk away from a set going holy shit did that really happen? But then the stars kick you in the balls as your recorder in the middle of your set stops and says "disk full". Thanks Universe! At least my recorder seemed to have captured the first 53 minutes of my 1.5 hour set.
