Which date could be better to release a fundraiser set I’ve played for my Mexican Mayan Warrior fam than the week where we would normally stroll over the playa in Nevada. I can tell I miss it a lot and can’t wait to return next year properly. 
This set got recorded a month ago in NYC with the full art car at the Brooklyn Mirage. It was a hot and rainy summer night, with a pretty magical vibe and so spectacular with all the lasers & fire. We had a little blackout at the end caused by the heavy rain which soaked all of us and of course the equipment too but this made it even more special.

Dear friends, I'm grateful to share with you the recording of a morning session I had the pleasure to DJ on the cutest art car, Lucy S Cargo the colourful Sonic Snail 🌈  after sunrise on Friday AM at Burning Man 2024.

It was a sunny Friday morning on this love planet, smiling and taking life as it comes, lightly and playfully. 

I was so glad to DJ alongside @christianvoldstad and after my brother @dextercrowe who was soundtracking his first sunrise session on the playa so beautifully! I recommend you start with his set so you can hear the earlier chapter of this sunrise journey.

"Ombre Portée" évoque un contraste entre lumière et obscurité, une trace qui se prolonge et persiste. Entre légèreté et intensité, un mouvement suspendu.
Portée par des ombres qui dansent et glissent sur le temps. Une track où la lumière sculpte l'obscurité, étirant ses contours invisibles.
Une musique qui n'impose rien, mais qui reste, accompagne, habite l’espace sans l’envahir.

"Ombre Portée" evokes a contrast between light and darkness, a trace that lingers and persists. Between lightness and intensity, a suspended movement.
Carried by shadows that dance and glide through time. A track where light sculpts darkness, stretching its invisible contours.
Music that imposes nothing, but remains, accompanies, inhabits the space without invading it.

My essential mix was created with a sunrise set on the robot heart bus in mind out at Burning man, 2015. I played the actual set at BM pretty much the same time this mix was broadcast on Radio one. I don't usually plan mixes out but for this one special occasion I purposely created a similar flow and some of the mixes featured here. Enjoy!
