Soulwax - Essential 14 (J.B's Extended Edit)

[PIAS] Nites 2012 happened last month and to celebrate the Entertainment Company being 30 years old, 2manydjs performed their Under the Covers show with a little mix of artists and songs that have been licensed by them.

Because I absolutely love the mix and you folks know how I enjoy remaking 2manydjs' edits, I've decided to give a go at recreating it. Problem is, the footage available of this mix is very limited, audio quality is a bit poor so it's a bit a difficult to figure out songs and from the way the mix was presented, this could end up being one of the new hours for Radio Soulwax. So recreating it in full will be difficult/probably impossible. But with the footage I got, I can still try to remake certain parts of it and make something for you guys to enjoy so here's the first of a few remade parts of the [PIAS] mix.

2manydjs' [PIAS]:30 YEARS MIX Remake (Clip 1)

This is the next clip of the [PIAS] Mix Remake. This one was pretty easy due to it mostly being transition mixing (Is that the right term? I dunno) but because of this I might have gone a bit lazy on it. Not completely lazy, I mean I still gave it my all but if you think some of the transitions feel a bit schlocky then yeah, sorry my bad.

Anyway, clip 3 next, perhaps my favourite part but probably going to be the hardest to remake so stay tuned ;)

2manydjs' [PIAS]:30 YEARS MIX Remake (Clip 2)

This is the final clip of the [PIAS] Mix Remake. Apologies this took so long, but my predictions were correct as this was the hardest part to remake, not only because of the way the part was put together but also due to the very limited footage that showed this part. So it may not be perfect but as always, I gave it my all. Besides, working on these clips have helped me improve my editing skills and were quite fun to remake.
Now these clips were meant to be part of remaking the [PIAS] mix with help from the footage recorded at [PIAS] Nites. Since then though, no new footage of the show has surfaced over the internet and with that, I can't do the entire mix. All we can do for now, is beg to Soulwax to hear the [PIAS] mix in it's entirety, either in an audio format or as an hour for Radio Soulwax.
Until then, we will never know. (But my bets is that it'll appear on RSWX ;)
