A Journey Through Music

Hike DJ, a passionate music lover, began his journey deeply influenced by his father's disc jockey background in the 70s and 80s. Starting with the Techno/House boom of the 90s, he explored genres from techno, acid, and hard trance to breakbeat, jungle, and hardcore before settling into a groove with house and techno.

In the 2000s, his DJing gained national momentum, sharing stages with legends like Rampa, Lexy & K Paul, Westbam, DJ Hell, Monika Kruse and many more. In 2007, he launched the minimalist-styled sayhey event series in Freiburg, followed by saywhat?, evolving with the shift from vinyl to digital.

In 2013, he co-founded the DJ trio "JACKING S CREW," focusing on groovy 120 BPM house beats, with memorable gigs across Freiburg. Though quieter now, Hike DJ remains active, with occasional bookings and the release of his own production, ACIDFASH, in 2022.
