and episode 23. We are continuing our church theme also in this episode. I had privilege to play this set at mass few weeks back. I won’t forget the feeling I had during I was playing. I’m not a religious person, but I do respect different religions. This set is deep and full of emotions. Close your eyes, imagine yourself to a place where you feel yourself calm, and let the vibes take you further. Second hour is all about our guest, Hilla Liila. Enjoy and let the underground take your soul! 


Hilla Liila is Helsinki based dj who is part of so many things at the moment, she is newest addition to the legendary Pussy eau de Club, she is part of Local Deep collective, and also founded duo with Sonja Argillander called Unglaublich. Her future looks bright with some upcoming huge events and some smaller underground parties as well. Hilla’s sound consists of a very versatile range, from very deep deep sounds to energetic techno. She wants every set to be an opus, as if there is some kind of story to tell to the listener. If you don’t believe me, listen yourself. Enjoy and let the underground take your soul!

Hilla Liila is the newest addition to the legendary Pussy eau de Club.She gained her residency after her first official gig at the Electric Carnival cruise in 2016.After this she has been playing in a number of Finnish house and techno concepts.
She also runs her own club night/Collective Local Deep with four of her friends.Together they have organized almost 30 nights in different clubs and UG spots around Helsinki.
She is also the other half of a Dj duo called Unglaublich which consist of her and Sonja Argillander,another rising Dj star from Helsinki.
Hilla s sound consist of a very versatile range.From very deep sound of house to energetic techno.Even some breackbeat has been heard.She has something recognizable in every of her sets.She wants every set to be an opus,as if there is some kind of story to tell to the listener.
She is a gratuitous perfectionist who carves her sets into pleasant entireties where unpredictable but delightful transitions can be heard.

recorded this mixtape after our first local deep event in 2020. felt quite inspired after the night (I did get my set on tape but as I was listening to it I couldn't feel the things I was feeling when I was playing the set live to a full dancefloor. all I can say is that was overwhelmingly lovely).

this mix contains many of the tracks I played that night, so I truly hope you enjoy this as much as you enjoyed the set at ääniwalli.

we also had the honor of having some amazing visual arts at the event. outstanding visuals by the one and only Indigo and some paintings and such by an artist called CS (Christian Sjöholm).  I chose to ask the permission to use one of his pieces as the image for this tape since I think it will bring out perfectly the mood of the recording and the intense feelings I carry inside me when remembering that amazing evening at Ääniwalli.

The chairperson of Local Deep and a regular face at the freshly improved queer night club DTM in Helsinki. The misunderstood messenger of house music. Known for their admiration for big vocals and wack beats, tasty basslines and seamless mixing. Crossing genre lines effortlessly like its a necessity for them to keep things interesting not just for the listener but for themself as well. Making a hassle with their lovemeorhateme-attitude. This artist is someone who needs to have new challenges while doing their work in the DJ booth or sitting at home making music.
