Hot on the heels of his latest release on the mighty Tresor, Irish Electro king and CE regular DeFeKT kicks off the series with 2 dancefloor destroyers. "Control Your Mind" rips through with harsh distorted 808s and booming vocals while "Fear and Body" is a spooky, funky electro groover perfect for dark basements. On the flip, CE welcomes back Rico Casazza to the label. Rico continues the electro funk vibes with "Home Here Us", slick beats and a bubbly bass line lay down the backbone of this peak time banger. Things then go deep, trippy and acidic with "Caldo" , a rolling robotic groove made for the club

Originally hailing from Inverness, Hyperdome Records’ boss and DJ / Producer is no stranger to good tunes.

Having cut his teeth in DJ’ing in Aberdeen as a jungle DJ, the now London based selector is a man of many genres. Electro, Booty, footwork, jungle, hardcore and anything else hard and fast is El Bastardo’s forte - mixing sets up with cuts, rewinds and effects galore, whilst maintaining fist pumping energy throughout. 

As well as throwing down tunes on the decks, DJ Bastard also produces - creating cross-genre music that is highly inspired by old skool sounds, combining synths, rave energy, hard kicks, breaks and vocal cuts into dance floor rinsers. 

DJ Bastard is also the founder of Hyperdome Records, and continues to push new and exciting sounds as well as run parties - with big plans in the works for the label; as well as  his own music.

In our 4th edition we have with us Žygimantas Dzikevičius aka 5ZYL(@zygzyl5 ). He comes from the urban district Pašilaičiai situated in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. Started musical journey around 2007 and being influenced by old-school rave / breakbeat / hardcore sound - Žygimantas started producing dubstep & jungle tunes and djing at various illegal parties and open-airs.In late 2019`s a new mindset under alias 5ZYL was born and it didn’t take long to be noticed by Jensen Interceptor and by local talent hunters - PPP Records - where the debut "Smoke These" EP was launched. Now Žygimantas has releases on labels like - International Chrome / Meta Moto / PPP / Shubzin / Crazed Behaviour / WhyPeopleDance/ PZ/ Your Character / Glispy / Ovelha Trax / Cyberjit / Partyzanai Pop / Orkaite / wellfare.wav . 5ZYL selections usually varies between electro, techno, ebm but it's certainly not limited to that.

@dvsnme is an Electro music producer/deejay and Post-Punk enthusiast living in Colorado. He runs a daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' which features news, live sets, guest mixes, upcoming shows, and throwbacks, as well as a weekly podcast that publishes every Friday on Soundcloud. The weekly radio show has aired since 2010 and was previously broadcasted on Illegal Connection Radio, Buenos Aires Sound System, and Intergalactic FM every Friday at 20:00 GMT.

He is also an accomplished and prolific Electro music producer. With production techniques ranging from software to hardware and everything in between, and spanning a multitude of genres, he has been producing music since 2000. He has collaborated with the likes of Franck Kartell, Das Muster, MetaComplex, Koova, Faceless Mind, Komarken Electronics, Deemphasis, and more. He is an artist representing Transient Force, Solar One Music, Blind Allies, Pulse Drift Recordings, Ukonx Recordings, Mosaique Records, Fanzine, and more.

Based in the South West of England, DJ Tankard is a 21 year old electro fan, producer and DJ, in no particular order. Primarily, he helps run Exeter's 'Lizard Tapes' collective who are currently running mixtape series, running local events and releasing music.

As a DJ, Tankard has cut his teeth over the last 2 years in his local town Exeter, constantly pushing electro sounds to new audiences across the town. And as a producer, his debut single was released in December over on FU.ME records.

In this mix, DJ Tankard delves into various electro sounds with a selection that ranges across differents eras and styles of fast-paced, driving electro, but with a focus on the contemporary.
