For We Are Many - Departure

A selection of pieces we composed for the Pixel Bomb Games release "Beyond Flesh and Blood". We were given a brief to create music that fused the mechanical with the organic, incorporating elements of EDM and orchestral music to reflect the setting and themes of the game. Set in a post apocalyptic imagining of Manchester, England, Beyond Flesh and Blood places the player in the role of a character exploring the overgrown ruins of the city with the aid of cutting edge technology. It was important that the score had a common theme that ran through every piece. We created a motif that was weaved into every piece of music, but was re-contextualised to fit the atmosphere of each particular environment or encounter.
