This is our first release ever. Consists of 3 songs and 1 sampling experiment by Kokoh Wardoyo, whose later quit the band for personal reasons.

Drum tracks were recorded at Menara10 by Agung Aksama and Thomas.

That's how this band best described.

Hi Mom! formed in 2007 and based in Surabaya, East Java. It has changed the members several times before it is now instrumented by Khukuh Ariesmart Yuda (Voc, Guitar) Indra Adi Surya, (Guitar) Adil Alba (Bass, Back voc) Eri Rukmana Jahat (Keys, Synths, Back voc) and Giovani Dananjaya (Drums and Pads).

The band has been popular by its environmental lyrics and gimmicks on stages, as most of the lyrics are talking about milieu, social, politics, and (of course) love. The members stated the band's genre as alternative, as their nature to explore any kind of music roots and sounds.

By the middle of 2008, Hi Mom! released it first demo called "Turning Point" with 4 tracks inside: Lick The TV, Honey, M=Massacre, Turning Point.

A year after, they released a collection called "Unreleased", include 2 tracks they planned to put in the first demo: Glass Windows and Another Piece.

2012 was the year of turning point for the band, for they were releasing their second demo Gerimis Saat Kemarau, with 5 tracks in Indonesian lyrics: Titik Balik yang Sempurna, Perjaka Gundah, Semua Menjadi Bara, Ramuan Penawar Rindu, and Menuju Rumah. Some say the music "pop-er" and softer.

After years they kept the band formed of 4 pieces, in 2013 they put Eri Rukmana Jahat as official band member, as Adil Alba replaced the previous bass player. In the same year, Hi Mom! released their EP titled Initiate the Initiatives with more rich and rousing music composition, with 4 tracks within: A Siren A Denial, Kosong, Midnight Float, and Web Maze.

They will release their first album this October.
