GGSM 1840

This track is a quite unusual to me personally. I've started it with the LSDJ on my Nintendo's Game Boy. 

I've made 4 bar instrumental loop on it, firstly, that I liked. Than I thought, hmmm might as well sample it to the DAW and see what comes out. All blue audio tracks were recordings from the Gamy Boy headphone output in to my audio interface. Interestingly, the sound of the real GB is way thicker than, perhaps because it's a hardware synth. 

Also the metronome matched the DAW tempo perfectly, to my extreme impression, which was awesome, because I could preserve the original sound of the GB PWM and Noise generator without any time stretching at all.

I have to say, using Game Boy made me think more than usually, when I'm working in DAW. And matching more or less match the GB and DAW plugin sound, was an interesting challenge. 

I can't say it's a 100% match, but pretty close. All drums, besides the High Hat sample recorded from GB were made with the "Super Audio Cart".

This was a very interesting unintended self challenge, I'll have to make more, since this was so much fun. Hope viewer enjoyed the tune, more will come soon.

Was meant to be on the Edge Of The Magic Forest Album released in 2014. A remix on Fabio Frizzi's song Zombie made for Lucio Fulci's movie from 1979 with the same name.
