The himynameisshan Album (Full Mashup Album)

Two months ago, I put out my debut mashup album, The himynameisshan Album. It was a 9 month process, making a bunch of mashups and finding the best ones that would fit and feel cohesive as a whole. I made it out of boredom while dealing with life, and worked my ass off for almost a year for it to be as perfect as possible. It's been so amazing to see all the kind comments, and support from fellow mashup artists as well.

There was about 50-ish ideas attempted, and as you saw, only 17 got finished. There were still a lot of cool ideas I wanted to get out there. So, I finished/remade a few, recovered a few demos, and compiled what I consider some favorites of mine into this release. Some of these I may even repurpose for later mashups, but I wanted to give you something as a big thanks. I'm really excited for where this channel is going to go.

Speaking of which, I've said many times, but this is not my main content. It is just the only content I am able to create at the moment. I have plans for original music, comedy skits and sketches, gaming content, video essays, short films, streaming, etc. I want to do everything. This album is dedicated to my stepdad, who unexpectedly passed away before this album began production. He always had faith in me, no matter what I did, and was always there for me when I needed him the most. I hope he's proud of what I'll become, and I hope he's proud of what I'm doing now. Thank you, Father Number Two. You will forever be missed, and you will forever be loved.

Everything Is Wonderful (Full Mashup Album)

'Yours Truly' is a 5-track EP based around the concept of feeling seriously disconnected from the people you care about, and the fear of total isolation.

Each mashup is incredibly simplistic at it's core from a technical standpoint, only having two samples each, and using samples somewhat unfamiliar from what I've done before.

It's a bit different from what I normally do in the mashup sphere, but regardless, I hope you enjoy!

Yours Truly EP (Full Mashup EP)

'Nevermore' is a 6-track EP that continues some of the themes previously established in it's sister EP, 'Yours Truly'. While this EP touches on similar themes of loneliness and dealing with grief head-on, here the feelings are much more internal, extreme, and more representative of my real feelings (at the time of making this).

Much like 'Yours Truly', most of these mashups are pretty simple (with the exception of 'End') in their arrangements. I don't intend to entertain people with this EP or it's predecessor, but to share my feelings with people, and remind them that, if they are in a similar place of grief and loneliness, they are not alone. As a result, this EP is a bit sadder than it's predecessor, but regardless, I do hope you enjoy!
