Awesome private press modern soul/disco cut from Spaceark, not featured on any of their albums. Vocal and instrumental versions, cut loud.

‘Don’t Stop’ is another one of those private press treasures from a dynamic group of musicians seizing the moment and making magic at Sunset Sound studios in LA.

This 45 features soaring lead vocals of Dolly Way and was also released as 'Dolly Way & Space Ship Earth – Don't Stop’ on Color World – using the same catalogue number – in 1976, but this ‘Spaceark’ version is harder to find now.

A big, big record! We are very excited to release it.

We had the pleasure to remix this fabulous track singed by Pat Appleton (De-Phazz, Bahama Soul Club, one of the most wonderful voices of the contemporary jazz scene) taken from the new Bahama Soul Club's album "Bossa Nova Just Smells Funky".

MAKING OF
The original track, with its magic lyrics, immediately put us in a spy-John Barry mode. We decided to treat it like it was the (opening)title trackfrom the imaginary Motion Picture "Tangossa".
Pat Appleton became our Shirley Bassey and we tried to give that melancholic/007 touch we like to the original version, playing our brass lines, Rhodes pianos, and guitar+harpsychord themes.
We would like to thanks Oliver Belz (the brains behind BSC) always ready to give us some great advises that hits every time! We are very glad and proud of this bright collaboration.

This is a preview of my remix for Kylie Auldist, forthcoming on Tru Thoughts in January 2010. It will be a vinyl release, alongside remixes from Flevans and Part Time Heroes and an edit from Ashley Beedle.

Here's a remix I did for label mate Flevans. Stepping drums and light fingered piano. Has been going down well in clubs for a couple of months.



It will be available on a CD called "The 28th Devil" - a compilation of remixes of material from the recent Flevans album "27 Devils" by the likes of Azaxx, Lack of Afro and Regal, teamed up with remixes of other artists by the Flevans himself. 



The CD will also feature my remix of "Second Bite".
