Fender Stratocaster with Dimarzio HS-2 pickups into the HipKitty Indio low wattage amplifier with all controls at max, no boost into a 1 x 12 cabinet with a Celestion 8 ohm Vintage 30 speaker. Mic used was a Shure SM57.

HipKitty Indio 3-watt guitar amplifier plugged into a 2 x 12 speaker cabinet loaded with Jensen Blackbird speakers. Gain initially set at 7, Tone at 10 and Volume at 10. Brought Gain up to 10 midway and the added Boost switch near the end. Used an American Fender Stratocaster with stock pickups.

HipKitty Indio 3 watt amplifier with Gain at 7, Tone at 10, Volume at 8 into a 2 x 12 HipKitty speaker cabinet loaded with Jensen Blackbird speakers. Picking dynamics applied for effect of overdrive. A Gibson SG Special with Smit's P90 pickups was used.

The new changes to the HipKitty HeadKnocker per Mick Jones' request include a Thickness switch (that applies to both channels) and a Lead Boost Switch for increasing gain to the lead channel. This sound file is recorded using Mick's own HipKitty HeadKnocker (set to Mick's onstage setting), a Gibson Les Paul Custom loaded with Smit's Real Classic Coil Alnico II pickups (recorded with the bridge pickup only) and a HipKitty 4 x 12 slant cab loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 (UK manufacture) 12" speakers. The recording starts with the Rhythm channel dialed into Mick's settings...then adds the Thickness Switch...then changes over to the Lead Channel...and finally adds the Lead Boost in.

A stock American Fender Standard Telecaster loaded with the Custom Shop Broadcaster single coil in the bridge and the Custom Shop Twisted  single coil in the neck...bridge pickup selected with the volume and tone controls wide open into the HipKitty HeadKnocker 100 watt all-tube amplifier. The  "Lead" channel selected for higher gain distortion recorded with the Master Volume at half way into a 4 x 12 cabinet loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 12" speakers.

A stock Gretsch G5655T-CB Electromagtic into the HipKitty HeadKnocker 100 watt amp on channel 2 dialed into slight EL34 output tube overdrive and all amplifier tone controls set at 12:00. The 4 x 12 cabinet is loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 12" speakers.
