“LUDO” is out now!

DEADMAU5 meets DEATHPACT with a touch of RIOT comes to mind when listening to “LUDO,” a heavy-hitting dubstep track with drums inspired by metal music, a thick bass and heavy-hitting subs by Brooklyn-based producer Munchkin Kat. “LUDO” is a fresh take on heavy edm that channels the nostalgia of shredding along to METALLICA.

“LUDO” started outside my usual comfort zone, writing at 140 BPM and elevating my sound design to harsher and thicker tones. This track uses the combination of twenty different bass synths including variations of Reese, donk, harmonic, format filtered, Neuro and many more. Additionally I implemented some more simplistic, old school techniques with auto pan modulation over multiple comb filters, making this track a load of fun to create.
