A scientific study has taken place exploring the experiential difference between 'Black Body music' and 'other music'. The noticeable difference music lovers and musicians have noticed with 'Black Body music' is that it is not only more beautiful and harmonious to the ears, but it also induces a more inward experience that is felt inside the body and along the spine. 'Other music' was felt as a more outward and mental experience, and felt at the side of the head, which projected outwards. Global psychedelic dance dons Multi Culti deliver an astrologically advanced compilation series in two parts: SUN GAZE & MOON FAZE.

Spread across six EPs beginning March 21st (just after the Spring equinox), the full yin yang comes out on the summer solstice, June 21st , in digital double helix and as a crazy-limited, painstakingly-artisanal edition boxed-set, with fabric sleeves, embossed tin casing, and secret psychedelic party survival kit.

The growing posse of Multi Culti’s core talent: Thomash, Peter Power, Nicola Cruz, Crowdpleaser, Xanga and Ccolo are paired alongside the likes of Zongamin, Manfredas, Moscoman, and Lum. On the Sun Gaze side, the A&R stares deep into the light, pulling in warm, ethnically-diverse earth dance, while Moon Faze peers deeper into the cosmos, showcasing the trippier, freakier side of the cult.

David Bowie’s lyrics about Andy Warhol mirror the groovy yet deeply moving emotion of this track. The music Superpitcher imagined here is a pleasant cruise in itself and once you wake up from it, you will for sure think of Andy.

Side B features Yves. The track starts with a long introduction of harp music and then gently evolves into one of the more fragile and poetic pieces Superpitcher has created thus far for The Golden Ravedays record. Similar to Andy this track is dedicated to an artist, Yves Saint Laurent. What is clear in this music is that there is an intense understanding of the suffering Yves Saint Laurent lived throughout his life as an artist and fashion designer. As only Superpitcher can, he translated that emotion into this beautiful and touching piece of music.

Leon Thomas - Song For My Father (Middle Sky Boom Edit)

Brainchild of Multi Culti A&R, Sascha Funke and Niklas Wandt were introduced by Dreems, who charted a course for the seasoned Berlin-based producer and funky multi-percussionist and singer. 

Wandt was just about to enter the scene forcefully with his collaborative 2LP with Wolf Müller and the debut single of his band Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge. In the icey cold of his warehouse rehearsal space, Funke had him record a variety of slapped, bowed and scratched percussions (congas, talking drum, prepared cymbals played with a bass bow) over his tracks. These first efforts were later expanded into joint sessions at Sascha's home studio and, within a few weeks, the journey reached it’s destination: Wibe strasse, Deutschland.

At first glance, they seem an odd couple: a techno veteran of almost thirty years meets a side-burned upstart socialized in Free Jazz and Krautrock. but the shared sonic influences come through in the hypnotic, dubbed-out sound, perhaps rooted in the close connection the two share to the Rheinland region in West Germany, Funke as part of the Kompakt family and Wandt by origin and socialization in the Cologne and Düsseldorf music scene centered around the Salon des Amateurs. Regional flavours, global appeal. Multi Culti, promoting local collaboration, one freaky record at a time.
