Just Beginning

This is based on the alarm sound to which I wake up every morning. I set the alarm away from my bed so I have to get up to shut it off.

Wake Up

I know I'm new to the website, but music production isn't awfully new to me. Overtime, my production pace has slowed, which is personally concerning. I keep thinking, "Now I'll be able to make songs faster," but then other crap keeps happening. Maybe I'll finally catch a break when summer comes along... xD

I know it's not holiday themed music or anything, but just because I'm uploading it around the holiday season, merry Christmas everyone.

Welp, we're just entering the busy season and I'm already starting to feel like there's not enough time to make music. Maybe at the end of March I'll be able to make another song... xD

But really, I'll keep making songs, just at a slower rate. In the meantime, here's something I've made.

It's been a while, hasn't it?

I've been uploading things on my corresponding NG profile (linked below), but NG's ads aren't exactly saintly. I never see them because I use powerful ad blockers, but I understand that my viewers shouldn't be subjected to that sort of sludge.

Anyways...

This song has a story behind it (not like it’s suppose to invoke a story, but… well, you’ll see).

I always send my songs to friends before I upload them, so that they might catch some problem that I didn’t. Well, one of my friends said that the mix was muddy in the midrange (sounds like a weird band name, muddy in the midrange, lol), and that I should talk with a professional mixer.

The next day, I learned from aforementioned mixer that my mix was not muddy in the midrange… because there was no midrange to speak of. My ears have been betraying me for as long as I have been making music.

Hey, it's all part of the process of improvement, right?

Anyways, after reworking and reworking the mix, this is what it sounds like. Hope you enjoy.
