Singer/songwriter Gavin Turek's fun, disco-inspired sound and Tokimonsta's fresh beats made for a match in musical heaven when they joined forces on the tribal smash hit, "Surrender." Now, Miami producer and DJ ES.P adds his classic flavor in an all-new remix. Drawing on his love of 80s dance and funky rhythm, ES.P's rendition of "Surrender" straddles the line between past and future house. 

ES.P leaves Turke's vocals intact and hovering delicately above layer upon layer of ethereal synths, lending the tune an indie, sun-drenched sound that will have you reminiscing about summertime fun and long, golden afternoons. A jamming bass line and old school high hats give the remix a character that's thoroughly retro and perfect for nights when you just feel like taking it back.

This track uses an old vocal sample from a great RnB song by Groove Theory and I've modernised it into what people would call a 'house anthem'.

It combines some subtle piano arrangements and a pounding plucking bassline synonymous with the likes of UK House and Deep House.
