MadTech Records returns early November with ‘The Resistence’, a three-tracker coming courtesy of UK act Skapes. 
Alex Calver aka Skapes has been releasing a steady stream of his UK focused house and bass music over the past few years with projects such as Twocker alongside Low Steppa, Calvertron and also under his own name. Now though it’s his Skapes guise taking precedent and his project has seen him release on Mark Knight’s long running Toolroom and also Simma Black amongst many others. This time round though we see Skapes joining the roster of MadTech Records with some fresh new material. 
Stepping up first on the package is ‘Drop The Needle’ a high-octane slice of contemporary house led by vacillating subs and shuffled 909 drums alongside expansive synth swells and an amalgamation of vocal cuts. 
Title track ‘The Resistence’ follows and retains a similar bass fuelled aesthetic with rumbling low end, soft synth shots and 4/4 rhythms running with delayed bass hits and low-pitched vocal lines. ‘Bring It Back’ then rounds out the package, laying the focus on percussion this time via snare rolls, spiralling delayed vocal lines and Skapes’ signature snaking sub bass hook.

We would like to introduce you Minsoo and Life & Mind with their release on Remark Recordings called 'It Ain't Over'. It's the first release of Remark Recordings in 2020 and we are back with releases this year! We couldn't wish for a better start with Minsoo and Life & Mind. Both DJ's combined their styles in this release. The release itself has a really good drop in it. This makes the song really original together with the vocals.

The song starts with the vocals with piano chords behind it. After a while the build-up begins where you hear the melody of the drop in the background. When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a EDM track what makes you wanna jump. This song is perfect for the festivals. We are very excited to release 'It Ain't Over' on Remark Recordings. Let's show some huge support on 'It Ain't Over'. Both DJ's are gonna releasing a lot more songs individual later, and we hope they will make a new collab too. You definitely need to keep an eye on these guys.
