This mix was created when Damian and Martin joined forces in a rare musically alternative back to back session when they met up in Tulum  after having played The Day of Dead in different cities around Mexico.

Although it feels kind of heavy to be posting about music these days, one of the best part of my year is sharing this mix with everyone. These mixes have been a yearly tradition since 2008, and this one is defiantly among my very favourites. I’ve decided to go back to my roots a bit with this one, with lots of 90’s influenced music from the likes of Matthias, Masalo, Jamie Leather, Sally C, Spray, Running Hot, Shanti Celeste, Peach, Juaan, E Talking, Voodoos & Taboos, Theo Kottis & many others. My essential mix was created with a sunrise set on the robot heart bus in mind out at Burning man, 2015. I played the actual set at BM pretty much the same time this mix was broadcast on Radio one. I don't usually plan mixes out but for this one special occasion I purposely created a similar flow and some of the mixes featured here. Enjoy!

Burning Man has always been my favorite place to DJ in the world. There's a certain feeling of freedom I experience playing music on the playa, and this feeling arises from the beauty of the physical surroundings, the enthusiasm of the people who wander onto the dance floor, and my own attitude that shapes how I approach my sets in the desert.

Thank you to the entire Kazbah crew for gifting me a timeslot. Such a beautiful group of people who created a spectacular platform to artists to share music. I hope you enjoy the recording!

As resident for the Bespoke event series he already shared the stage with some of the big names in the scene.

Christian acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene, a party enthusiast, and an avid techno tourist.
