Counterfeit Rainbow sent us an epic purple mix for this week's Mountain Standard Guest Mix. This sound whether described as the ‘purple wow’, ‘the purple wave’, ‘purple dubstep’, or simply ‘purple’,  is a bombastic, melodic and funk-laden sub-genre that developed out of two of the UK’s youngest and most exciting scenes – grime and dubstep.  Known primarily for its off-kilter or “unstable” beats, as well as its eclectic blend of genres including hip hop, electro-funk, chiptune, jazz fusion, glitch, and crunk. 
Counterfeit Rainbow sent us over this mix chock full of original tunes as well as a handful of forthcoming unreleased dubs! We couldn't wait to share this next one with y'all.
