Elisa Bee is a DJ, producer, and record collector with a deep passion for music, spanning jazz, reggae, hip-hop, rock, house, and techno. Originally from Sardinia and now based in Milan, she has been DJing for over 17 years, blending past influences with forward-thinking sounds.

Her productions have earned international recognition, with releases on Symbolism, Hardgroove, Truncate, Unknown To The Unknown, Balkan Vinyl, I Love Acid, and ANAØH. Recently, she has explored techno with strong ’90s hardgroove influences, including a collaborative EP with Detroit legend Rolando (2024).

Recognised by Resident Advisor as one of Italy’s finest selectors, she is a resident DJ at Tempio Del Futuro Perduto and has been a regular at Berghain since 2023. Her sound—groovy, acid-tinged, dark yet energetic—has been featured on HATE, Awakenings, Slam Radio, and RA Podcast. Every set is a journey.

For this special mix for our BCCO x ÜBERKIKZ takeover for International Women's Day, Elisa Bee has crafted a selection entirely from 1991—the year she first realised music would define her life. 

Unlike some other artists, she didn’t grow up in a musical household or inherit a record collection; her passion for music was innate. As she immersed herself in dance and electronic music, she became obsessed with understanding its roots, digging through Discogs to build an archive of essential tracks, EPs, and albums. 

Naturally organised, she began cataloguing music year by year, starting with 1991—a pivotal year for techno, house, and breakbeat. This mix is her tribute to that era—an homage to the sounds that shaped her.

Stepping up to remix Tal Fussman's ‘Everybody’, Sardinia’s Elisa Bee infuses the track with swinging organic rhythm, resampling the original’s chords into a playful stab bouncing off the drums while stripping back the vocal. Bulgarian lynchpin KiNK then flips ‘Everybody’ into a strobelight-inducing cut complete with bubbling synths and rave-ready hoover sounds, contributing his tried-and-tested flair to an EP that is the complete Techno package. Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label owner Tal Fussman is known for his varied discography on labels such as
Innvervisions, Drumpoet, Dyinamic, Laurent Garnier’s COD3QR, and Radio Slave’s Rekids. He now returns to his Survival Tactics label with ‘Everybody’, a versatile offering that’s already supported by the likes of Honey Dijon, Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, and many more.
