WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I ALWAYS LIKED MICHAEL JACKSON. HE WAS PROBABLY THE ONLY ARTIST I REALLY LISTENED TO. I STILL HAVE MY GREATEST HITS CD AND THAT FUCKER IS SCRATCHED UP BEYOND BELIEF. I REMEMBER PERFORMING MAN IN THE MIRROR FOR MY FAMILY WHEN I WAS LIKE 7 OR 8. THE DAY MICHAEL JACKSON DIED I REMEMBER CRYING. I WAS ON A TRAMPOLINE WITH MY FRIENDS AND THEIR DAD CAME OUT AND NONCHALANTLY SAID THAT MICHAEL JACKSON DIED. I DIDN'T BELIEVE HIM. WHEN HE SHOWED ME THE ACTUAL NEWS ARTICLE I WAS SO UPSET THAT I IMMEDIATELY WALKED HOME AND LISTENED TO THAT CD. REST IN PEACE.

acquired taste is soops' debut album. of heartbreak and frustration, and of feeling trapped. sometimes he raps, sometimes he sings. no matter what, he tries to be honest. 

some of these songs were made in the week before the release, some of them were made months before. the recording process took 8 months.

"Live From The Panic Room" is the second album from artist Ethan Arterberry, known as Soops. Recorded over the span of multiple months, it is an exploration of hiphop, jazz, and most outwardly: experimental pop music. Every sound you hear on this album was created by Ethan: singing, mixing, writing, and producing the whole project himself.
