This June, ascendant Russian record producer THIR13EN returns to Australian drum and bass powerhouse
ProtoCode with his first drop of 2021: his first EP, Desecrated Village.

First appearing on the label last autumn with his thrilling debut single “Jackin” / “19 By 6”, the
Moscow-based talent has since gone from strength to strength, guesting on German institution Subplate
Recordings with the sparse, minimal two-tracker “Deactivated” / “Vital Signs” and earning endorsements
from the likes of Bass Portal and RTR FM. Drumming up a loyal following with his intricate, yet potent
approach to production, THIR13EN has turned his hand to everything from neurofunk to dancefloor D&B
with ease—with his latest outing further cementing his status as a versatile beatmaker over the course of
four high-octane cuts.

The Desecrated Village EP’s opener, “Mob Pasta”, utilises a clamouring combination of sampled raps,
formant snarls and busted, metallic percussive strikes, culminating in a truly raucous affair. “Complainer”,
meanwhile, is a tightly programmed triumph, its detailed, techstep-leaning arpeggios leading into gritty,
yet pared-back crescendos with an irresistibly funky underlying groove. The project’s namesake,
“Desecrated Village”, is a comparatively cinematic but equally turbulent number, with the fledgling artist’s
penchant for sampling shining through in the form of spoken-word excerpts. Last up is “For Today”, a
lighter concoction anchored on a saccharine topline, rugged, rolling basslines and twinkling synth plucks
which showcases a markedly different side to THIR13EN.

Find the EP exclusively on Beatport and Spotify from 7 June; it’s set to reach the full range of outlets a
fortnight later on 21 June 2021.

The title track ‘Agonist’ is entrancing and bouncy, while ‘Back’ is a brutal neurofunk killer with savage bass stabs and powerful drums.
The final track, ‘Afflictions’ is a cheeky, atmospheric roller with fast paced breaks perfect for those darker hours at the end of the rave.

We’re going to take you on a ride to the deep corners of drum’n’bass with this release… Having a beautiful cinematic orchestral breakdown in the middle of his remix, Chris.su, who needs no real introduction to drum’n’bass music lovers, kickstarts the release. This track would go perfect for any drive-by scenes in your imaginary movies - just as much as the ground-shaking version of Mob Ties that handles such a vocal arrangement which will always keep your car on the right track! This arrangement worths paying attention to with its fat and killer badass bass-lines.
The release couldn’t be round without offering a proper banger for your imaginary fighting scenes too. Thus, the wrestler of serious beats, Groove Mind comes into the picture. A returning artist to our label, he knows pretty well how to please the crowd - injecting some dope video-game-soundscapes into his neuro rework. Meanwhile, no closure of a release would be perfect without travelling to the Far East. Now, we’ve got, Ninive - a brand new signing to the label - completing the quest with his spooky junglist vibes, making this imaginary Original Soundtrack a whole and compact package!

Nipponeer Records being based in Tokyo, Japan; was founded by Hiroshi Fukuma in 2003. This is the 10th release of the label, while the first EP came out in 2009 - aiming to reach a place of solely ageless and quality music, where time has got no dimension.

After a long period ... It´s time to welcome a new episode of remixes that will not leave anyone indifferent. On this occasion the protagonists of giving a twist to the original songs are none other than CPTL PNSHMNT, MANIATICS, HEKRIM and for the first time releasing music in our family, THRILLER! . Four technically perfect remixes with colossal work from these artists! We start with the remix of the magnificent MANIATICS to the original track piece "Anubis", an original song made by CPTL PNSHMENT feat RADIOHAZZARD. Adapting to the times Maniatics presents us with a remix of the freshest, and solid, at the same time elegant, giving a 180 degree turn to the theme that this wonderful original track already carried. Strong basses accompanied by explosive synths, powerful rhythms and a totally successful dancefloor flow !. The Next remix is ​​starring by CPTL PNSHMENT, and this time they are the ones who turn the game around on the original Maniatics track, "Fewer Job". A titan Neurofunk track, with unstoppable energy and strength. Puerto Ricans guys express the original theme in an incredible way and making a version 2.0 Supreme!.
