I've worked on this one on and off for several months now. It started as a very simple lofi type track, but I wanted to involve some glitchy elements to mash together a modern and retro feel. The beat is also 7/4 timing, which may throw some people off on first listen. Enjoy!

Ghostlike voices reaching out of nowhere, immediately overdrawn by rumbling machinery with angular precision. You are burning, trapped in a derailed train wreck collapsing upon itself. Uncommonly uneasy. OBSOLESCE.

'Ithaca' is a five track EP structured around a 20 year voyage. The EP was written in multiple sessions in San Francisco and LA over a time span of eight years. It is quite dark in tone, but I think it also shows clearly that we had a lot of fun writing this material, obsessing over sounds, melodies and mixing synthetic, organic, orchestral and vocal textures (mostly our own vocals!)
