“Diabolic” marks the darkest, heaviest, and most blasphemous moment in The Black Cross’ history — a twelve-track descent into fire, rebellion, and divine ruin.

Across its molten landscape, Diabolic fuses the crushing weight of doom, the precision of groove metal, and the fury of thrash into one infernal mass of sound.
Michael leads as the voice of destruction and defiance — the fallen preacher who burns the scripture itself — while Lilith rises as the serpent queen, her haunting presence spreading through the ashes like temptation incarnate.

From the apocalyptic grandeur of “Inverted Faith” and the slow-burning menace of “Diabolic,” to the southern steel of “Turn the Cross Upside Down” and the tragic beauty of “Evil Spirits,” every song is a sermon of damnation.
“Demonic Possessions” sees Lilith take full control, a demonic force of nature channeling chaos and power, before the album culminates in the seven-minute requiem “Amen Infernum” — where the fallen king and serpent queen unite in eternal fire.

This is not an album — it’s an inverted gospel.
A book of desecration written in distortion and blood.
A war hymn for those who never prayed, and a crown for those who burned their faith.

Эта песня — яростный крик сопротивления, написанный в духе протестного метал-рока. Лирика наполнена гневом, болью и сарказмом. Автор сталкивается с ложью, навязанной ответственностью и лицемерием окружающих, называя их "забытыми дураками" и "жалкими обезьянами". Повторяющийся мотив "negative" — это как мантра отчаяния и отторжения.  

Припев — это кульминация внутреннего конфликта: осталась одна жизнь, и её нельзя потратить на чужие ожидания. Это отказ подчиняться, это вызов. Финальные строки "I set myself FREE" — акт освобождения, но не мирного — это освобождение через агрессию, через удар.  

This song is a furious scream of resistance, written in the spirit of protest metal-rock. The lyrics are filled with rage, pain, and sarcasm. The narrator confronts lies, imposed responsibility, and the hypocrisy of others, calling them “forgotten fools” and “miserable apes.” The recurring “negative” motif acts like a mantra of despair and rejection.  

The chorus is the emotional peak: one life left, and it won’t be wasted living by someone else’s rules. It’s a refusal to conform — a challenge. The final line “I set myself FREE” is an act of liberation, but not peaceful — it’s freedom through aggression, through impact.
