Freundschaft und Musikleidenschaft sind der gemeinsame Motor der Bandmitglieder von HISTORY OF ART – seit mehr als 25 Jahren. Das spiegelt sich auch im Feedback von Menschen wider, die einen Gig der Drei gesehen haben. Wer melodische Songs unterlegt mit elektro- nischen Beats und Loops, Synthesizer und Gitarre mag, sollte die Musik von HISTORY OF ART hören.
Die neue CD mit 7 Songs ist nun endlich fertig gestellt.
Die Geschichte der Band begann 1986 zu viert in einem Schuhlager mit dem ersten Gig und Ein-Finger Synthy-Pop. Bereits 2 Jahre später resultierte der Gewinn eines Wettbewerbs in der Produktion der ersten 7“ und 12“ Single ‚I Love You‘. Bei Radio 100 Berlin schaffte es der Song bis auf Platz 2. Über 700 Fans besuchten im Mai 1989 das Konzert im Kasseler Club ‚New York‘. Parallel produzierte die Band Titelmusik für Videospiele für den c64 und Atari ST. Zwischen 1993 und 2007 widmeten sich die Jungs unterschiedlichsten Musikprojekten und Musikstilen über den Jazz bis hin zu Hardrock.
Heute finden sich in HISTORY OF ART Werken viele Nuancen der Musikstile wieder, vor allem härtere Gitarrenklänge sind Teil des Konzepts. Musikalisch hat sich die Band weiter entwickelt wobei der Ursprung in elektronischer Musik spürbar bleibt. Wer eine gute Zeit mit gutem Synthie-Rock verbringen möchte, sollte HISTORY OF ART auf CD kaufen, live sehen oder buchen. Es lohnt sich!
