Formed in the early 00's, SKRAPEZ, duo Jon Calzo (aka Tenshun) and David Lampley, is the missing link between San Diego's two noisiest punk & rap movements. DIY almost to a fault, the two don't do the normal things most bands do, like maintain a Facebook page, record studio albums or curry favor with movers & shakers behind the local scene. Instead, they forge their own distinctly hellish path, terrorizing unsuspecting audiences with brash soundscapes, clanging breakbeats and vicious turntable scratches. 

SKRAPEZ toured heavily across Europe in Spring 2015 alongside WALTER GROSS and ANGELS DUST (singer Flavîa & Psychopop). SKRAPEZ are heading out again for a West coast tour with EGADZ & SINKING SWIMMER from August 11th-20th, and in celebration are releasing a limited-edition cassette tape with HIT+RUN. "GRAVEYARD CLASSICS" [HNR68] collects four out-of-print and self-released 7" vinyl from 2002-2006. Only 100qty pressed!
