I wrote this song in the middle of the night after waking up from a dream in 1994. Woke up around 4am, went into the studio and recorded it, then went back to bed. 30 years later, here I am recording it again with better equipment than I had back then.

Dream

Frankie the Feral Feline stars as Death Kitty in his vocal debut. Frankie was a feral cat that was dumped on our property 16 months ago. We spotted him eating deer corn in the field, so after a few feedings he starting to hang out in one of our sheds. After 5 months of sweet talking he finally let me touch him. It took another month before I could get him to the vet to have him checked out and neutered. Since then he's now a permanent fixture here and hangs out in the studio.

Death Kitty

A very somber reminder that we're on this rock for a very limited time and we don't know when our time is up. When it is somebody's time though, hopefully those around them have made peace with them and won't live with regret of wishing they had made amends before they are out of time to do so.

Out Of Time

This was an "accidental" track, meaning I just happened to have all the keyboards powered up and like I randomly do sometimes I just hit a few chords... next thing you know, I have 6 bars that just "work". Yes, only 6, not the normal 8 you'd expect. It gives the song a weird feeling, which that's what music is supposed to do - hit you in the feels. In this case, its a massive bass drum hitting you in the chest. Add in my signature string instruments and voila.

When the Caribbean steel drums find a classic disco beat, while a smooth spacey pad plays in the distance, you get something you didn't think you need.

Tropical Galactic Disco

Heavy drum beat, haunting vocals, distorted guitar, a space synth hovering in the background, this track has morphed quite a bit since I first stumbled across the instruments used for it about 3 months ago.
