Ah hell, a chill-ass Bloodlines track!  It took longer than intended to finish, but was still a quick one.  It's pretty stripped down, but I think it works, since this song has such a lonely feel to it.  Also, I recorded the traffic sounds in the background me years ago in Columbia, SC.

I tried to make a 90's New York type-track, but Prince Paul I ain't.  I'll have to try it again sometime.  It was fun as hell making the 'samples'!

Outset Island (Chill 90's Hip Hop Version)

Some of the best tracks to cover are older, very skeletal tracks.  You get to find interesting ways to expand on and reinterpret them.  This is definitely one of those tracks lol.  SMT II has the best alignment themes.  Tried to implement traditional Japanese instruments and churchy instruments.  It would have been cool to put a begenna in it, but I couldn't swing it.  Oh well.

Fun track to work on!Covering an unused VTMB track this time.  This song is so good.  In fact, most of the unused tracks are ultra good.  I also never really use mellotron samples so that's cool too.

Not sure what compelled to remix and re-record the vocals to a song I covered 11 years ago but here we are.  Good stuff, but I always hated the original vocals.  Also, the lyrics on the original recording are kinda unintelligible which is probably why the Monorchid rewrote the lyrics for their cover.

Slow Down, Shooting Star

An NES/Famicom style cover of 'Action' from Devil Survivor.  Made in FamiTracker, and using the Namco 163 expansion since it was also used in Megami Tensei II.  Would have uploaded it earlier but I was getting ready to move, so it got pushed back.  That's also why I still haven't finished Devil Survivor lol.

Hitrison - Action (FamiTracker Mix)

Ah, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.  You know you're gonna reinstall it now.  This is the song that plays in Vesuvius, written by the game's composer Rik Schaffer.  I'm not sure if it's meant to be Velvet's "theme," but that's how I treated it.  It's a fair bit darker and slower than the original, and I did a lot of fun guitar work that I don't typically get to do.  Honestly, I didn't realize how different my version was until it was finished and I compared it lol.  It was one of the most fun tracks I've made, and a good way to ring in 2021!
