 Oh boy, where oh where do I begin with this one? 

Written out of heartbreak, something I was hoping not to experience again yet I threw myself right into it. A glutton for punishment, as one would say. So this song was birthed out of being in a situation I put myself into, attempting to handle it and being completely unable to. What does it mean, to not be long-term anyways? I find myself still struggling to understand it. 

The idea for this song had been sitting in my mind for awhile. It was my attempt at using the Royal Road chord progression to make a city pop song (how original) but over time it just became Royal Road + The Strokes. I found myself learning an incredible amount of musical knowledge while researching and working on this one, which is enough of a plus for me. Still, I'm quite proud of how this one turned out, as well as the video. Enjoy your experience while it lasts, I definitely did. Goodbye to the stranger who wished to love me just for a little while. Unfortunately, it was never anything else than that.

Dancing With A Stranger

I wrote these songs in the style of my favorite RPG soundtracks of the SNES era (with many other video game influences). The original plan was to create a full length album of songs in this style--sort of a mini-RPG soundtrack--which I may still do eventually, but it's taken a lot longer than expected (mostly due to lack of inspiration; it's hard to write music for a non-existent game with no art and no story :P).
