One of my tracks is called America from my mixtape called The Osmium Experience. It’s a different song. It features: Prince, Kanye West with Barack Obama, Muhammed Ali, Malcolm X & Martin Luther King. It sounds crazy but I made it make sense. This song was inspired from something Prince said while he was here. I heard him say he like the song Gold-digger from Kanye West. My imagination went going from there. I thought to myself. Wow if Prince and Kanye West what would it sound like. Where will the meet up musically? So I went thru Prince’s catalog and I found a common ground

My name is Daven Prestige Vanderpool. I was born in Jersey City, NJ in the mid-seventies. I remember my first encounter with music at the age of 5 or 6. Hearing James Brown’s 45 (7-inch) Soul power. It left quit an impression on me. From that young age I fell in love with music. I spent a lot of time listening to the radio back then. Time went by and then all of the sudden Rapper’s Delight comes out and it changed my life. Soon after that a new genre was born and I wanted to take part. I first started out rapping. And then I said to myself I needed beats so that is how I started to do beats and learning how to produce tracks. Years later a friend introduced me to Puff Daddy of Bad Boy entertainment. Then I started to work with Heavy D, DMX, Jay Z, Mase,Biggie Lil Kim and the names go on. I left Bad Boy Ent. In 2001 and I slowly regressed from the business. I let too much negative people in my head. 

I didn’t have to urge to do any music for years. Time went by I slowly started to get the feeling back but now its 2014 and to me music business changed tremendously. So, I had to figure out a way for me to penetrate the game. That’s when I came up with the concept the Osmium Experience.  Musically I attempt and succeed at merging acts and musicians for completely different worlds to create something special and needed in the business.
