Lost Stars vocals teaser

This is a cover of the song from the movie Begin Again. I decided to upload this as the first song off my project Hive Mind because I think that it is not too mainstream but not too obscure at the same time. As for recording it, I had a lot of fun adding the guitar leads as well as the solo at the end. The backing vocals were also a joy to record because I had help from some friends. It is just a great feeling to have constructive input from other people in projects like this. However, it was quite challenging to mix the whole thing once all the vocals were added. Nevertheless, this is what came of it, and I have to say I am proud.

This one's an original song I wrote with a friend way back 2005. He started with the main chord progression and the lyrics of the 1st verse, and I took it from there. It's an upbeat song and also something that you could chill-out to. Hope you enjoy it! Please like and share!

Hive Mind - Stargazer

This song is something I wrote for a girl who basically turned me down for her undeserving someone. I wrote it back in 2008 when my old band was still active. Although I realized now that writing it and recording it are 2 different things, especially since I'm dealing with distorted guitars.

Overall, I think it's a feel-good song with a rock vibe. Hope you like it! Please like and share!

Angry Child

This is actually my entry for the #ALittleMayhem contest by ultimate-guitar and Halestorm. It was quite difficult at first to get a hang of the rhythm and beat of the solo section, but when I got used to it, it became quite fun to solo over. Definitely a catchy song. I hope to win the contest... lol.

Mayhem (guitar solo)

This is an instrumental song I wrote for my girlfriend's birthday. It started with just the intro riff, which was written more than a year ago. However, the rest of the song was written just recently proving that sometimes, they don't come easily.

Weekend

This track was written many many years ago by a friend and fellow guitar player. He presented the main theme to me and 2 other bandmates, then we took it to a certain "progressive" direction. Now I've chosen to bring it to completion.

On a side note, I preferred to have had other guitar players do the solos. I actually contacted about 7 people, but unfortunately, months passed by without any of their input. That's why I decided to just finish the song myself to not let it go to waste.

Trigger

This song is very much influenced by Opeth and Tool (their softer sides anyway). I wrote it back in 2008. We started recording it last 2015, but I only got to finish the whole thing this year. I consider it to be a very sensitive sounding song for some reason. I hope you all will like it!
