Matija is a well-travelled gentleman: From the Aargau province, where he took his first (and second) musical steps, he was drawn to the street jungle of the German capital Berlin, where he stayed for 6 years and deepened his craft. Together with his then roommate Dave Dinger, he moved around the houses and rocked clubs like Bar25 etc. with him.
And if you make it in Berlin, you take little Zurich by storm: Matija set out to conquer the Swiss scene metropolis after his return. With success: After party series in the supermarket, Hive (and other clubs) he worked for years as a night manager in the Zurich Hive Club and still continues to play in this one as a resident.
As a former night manager of Gonzo, Frieda's Büxe and Hive, he has now been on the road as a DJ for 23 years throughout Switzerland and often internationally, among others with Dave Dinger. With his sets he always provides that certain treat on the dancefloors.

Goose bumps, anyone?

Since Dejan can consciously use his senses, he has absorbed various multicultural music genres like a dry sponge. Son of Serbian immigrants but born and raised in Switzerland, he was used to be between the power of various cultural influences. His mother in particular passed a bottomless sense for rhythm and groove on to him, constantly inspiring the upcoming vinyl spinner with her rebellious taste for the Flower Power movement of the 60ies and 70ies. As an exceptionally gifted dancer, she treated her offspring with the most diverse music styles available at that time – from folk to Serbian music all the way to the genius Jimmy Hendrix.

This multicultural range is still a sensible part in all of his DJ sets. And exactly this commitment to musical diversity makes Dejan nowadays a unique character in the night life circus. He takes listeners and ravers on an experimental, deep sound trip. His manifold sets arrange all kinds of sound bites: Spherical tones, hypnotic voices, old school trumpets, clangorous hi-hats, funky pianos, rocking guitar samples and dirty bass lines mix up to an unique groove pattern.

But let’s start from the beginning. After rocking first at birthday parties, entertaining friends in smoke-filled basements, his true entry into the DJ scene was no other place then the legendary zurich-based Dachkantine. «In this cultural cabaret of my hometown I’ve learned many valuable lessons about DJing. One morning, I was in the right spot at the right time – my first set in front of a huge after hour crowd. Incredible intense emotions, unforgettable.»
Today, Dejan is an integral part of the Swiss night life movement, regularly feeding hungry club cats and party tigers with the latest tunes. He’s regularly headliner for the biggest clubs in Zurich like Alte Börse, HIVE, Friedas Büxe or the legendary Zukunft. But also in Basel, Geneva and St. Gallen there’s no way around his sets.

As a resident DJ for the nationally and internationally well-known, zurich-based event label Cityfox, he’s been in constant touch with international DJ stars like Philipp (M.A.N.D.Y), Lee Curtiss or Mike Shannon. Valuable contacts that have been tearing down walls for his international DJ career. Dejan is not only an accepted, party-proof DJ and dance floor magnet in Switzerland. His reputation is constantly spreading, having gigs from Berlin, Vienna, Barcelona, Brussels, Moscow to New York.

Over the years Dejan has learned how to entertain the masses with originality and the right dose of empathy. From hard techno sets to more sexy-sounding, beat nicking strokes for girls – Dejan works with his audience, for the dance floor, for the ambience. «By the time all hands are up in the air, everyone is screaming and the sweat is starting to drop of the ceiling – the goose bumps atmosphere becomes tangible. Exactly these intense moments fully charge my party batteries.»

Im Jahr 2004 haben Fabian und Galal das DJ-Team GLEICHSCHRITT ins Leben gerufen. Der Name symbolisiert die gemeinsame Entdeckungs- und Erlebnisreise in der Welt der elektronischen Musik. Die beiden DJs haben ihre Leidenschaft für diesen Sound schon früh entdeckt und teilen diese Energie gerne mit ihrem Publikum. Doch GLEICHSCHRITT bietet noch weit mehr: dank ihrer Aufgeschlossenheit und ihrem breit gefächterten Interesse an verschiedenen Styles ist jeder Gig ein unvergleichliches, einzigartiges Erlebnis.
Anfangs spielte GLEICHSCHRITT vorwiegend in kleineren Pubs in und um Zürich, doch bald eroberten Sie auch die DJ-Pulte der bekannteren Clubs wie dem Hive (Resident), Q-Club, Kaufleuten, Supermarket, Alte Börse, Mascotte und der ehemaligen Dachkantine. Neben zahlreichen Untergrundparties fanden auch Gigs im Ausland statt, zum Beispiel auf Ibiza und in Barcelona (Spanien), München (Deutschland) und Hurghada (Ägypten).
An den Annual Swiss Electronic Music Awards 2006 wurde GLEICHSCHRITT der “Best Newcomer DJ of the Year 2006”-Award verliehen.
GLEICHSCHRITT hat sich inzwischen zwei Labels angeschlossen, die perfekt zu ihnen passen: Grundton, ein auf Kenner fokussiertes Label, und ESANCE, das sich auf spezielle und innovative Grooves mit dem „gewissen Etwas“ spezialisiert hat.
Doch das ist natürlich längst nicht alles! GLEICHSCHRITT hält auch für die Zukunft noch die eine oder andere Überraschung bereit, nicht zuletzt im Bereich der Eigenproduktion. Also: Bleibt im Gleichschritt und stay tuned!

When people think of Switzerland, they think of green meadows, clear water, snow-covered mountaintops and fresh air. In the world of electronic music they think of soulful house music and an extensive clubbing past. It is in both of these environments that Marco Biagini aka KELLERKIND grew up. In the small and rural town of Solothurn KELLERKIND discovered the Chicago sound in the local clubs and became fully infected with the virus of house music. 15 years later, KELLERKIND has become an irreplaceable figure in the Swiss electronic music scene. Backflash: In the beginning, it wasn’t much more than just fun. Now though, it is a true passion. After many nights spent on the dance-floor of Solothurn’s Nacht-Schicht, KELLERKIND started to DJ himself – at first in his bedroom and soon in the clubs in and around his hometown. Warm deep house and the soulful music of Chicago were his biggest influences then and still remain to be the backbone to his sets. Very quickly KELLERKIND starts to DJ out in Switzerland’s big clubs. By 2007 Marco has already played the country’s most important venues, be it Zurich’s Hive, Rohstofflager, Rote Fabrik, Zukunft or Bern’s Formbar.

His career, however, really kicks off with his first release ‘Bergluft’ in 2008. His name, which translates as ‘basement child’, can be taken quite literal, as he spends hours creating and arranging his warm house sounds in his basement studio in Solothurn. In 2007, KELLERKIND meets the guys behind Swiss house imprint Sirion Recordings and in 2008 he releases ‘Bergluft’, a track that gets worldwide feedback. It is played out by many famous DJs, charts at number 5 of Beatport’s minimal section and even gets airtime on John Digweed’s UK radio show on Kiss100. After the sterling debut things happen quickly: Florian Meindl releases the Keller EP on his label Flash Recordings, of which the tracks ‘Natural Juice’ and ‘TomTom’ list highly in various techno charts. Later the tracks are re-released on vinyl as part of the Don’t Go Home EP, which does well with record retailers such as decks.de. In 2009, KELLERKIND’s working-relationship with Oliver Koletzki develops as he is asked to produce a remix for Koletzki’s ‘Since you are gone’. Since then he has released a shared EP on Stil vor Talent with Niko Schwind – an homage to classic house music – and has been featured on the Swiss Edition EP in 2010. More recently, his Groovebox EP was released on Flash to critical acclaim and another collaboration with Niko Schwind appeared on Light my Fire. While the spring of last year saw KELLERKIND’s first full length. Basement Story, his Backflash EP on Stil vor Talent has been the career defining moment thus far: hitting the zeitgeist perfectly, it reigned the Beatport Deep House charts at number one for weeks. Now, not even two years later, his second album Music is a Miracle is about to become another big success story.

Simultaneously, KELLERKIND’s DJ career has taken a sharp turn: he masters the decks at Berlin’s famous Watergate every other month, holds a residency at Hive in Zurich and jets to international venues in Paris, Amsterdam or Istanbul regularly. While channeling the energy of the club in his records, KELLERKIND enjoys the contrast between weekend and weekday: he produces his tracks in a small wooden hut tucked away deep in the Swiss countryside. It is here that his warm and soulful tracks are borne and he gets the chance to replenish his batteries for those long weekends ahead. “Most of my inspiration still comes from the time spent in clubs”, he states, a fact that is confirmed by his DJ sets and productions. “Music, for me, is everything – it’s a miracle”.

Calm plus harmony creates pressure and power. When it comes to music, especially club music, there's a lot of truth in this phrase. Sous Sol's music is generated by two individuals, Teo and Lukas, who are putting their entire personalities into their art.

At the young age of six, Teo learned to play the piano, which later inspired over a decade of DJing. Lukas first found his love for DJing in 1996 and has since incorporated other sounds into his repertoire, including 12 years experience with the saxophone. Both artists have used their musical backgrounds to excel in creating unique tracks.

For the last two years the dynamic duo has been working hard in the studio. Since, they’ve seen a rapid increase in their fan base and demand for their music from both, local and foreign clubs alike, which leads to shows at Kater Blau, Wilde Renate, Plötzlich am Meer and “Mir Dir Festival” in Berlin for example. In Switzerland Sous Sol are veterans mixing music and can frequently be heard at popular club such as Nordstern and Hinterhof in Basel, Hive, Supermarket, Revier or Klaus in Zurich (Zurich), as well as at ROK and Uferlos in their hometown Lucerne.

Their releases have been published on imprints like Gorge's Re:fresh Your Mind and on Mihai Popoviciu's Cyclic Records. Additional stations include: What Happens, Bondage Music, Hive Audio and Marcus Meinhardt's Heinz Music.
Lukas is also the manager of the club Uferlos in Lucerne, which gives him a good look behind the scenes look.

Overall, Teo and Lukas are true club musicians who know their turntables like the back of their hands and as they never stop exploring the musical world they live in, the duo is successful in creating fresh new music.

Music has always been Patrischa's faithful companion since her early childhood. She was born into a musical family and learned to play the violin and the guitar in her youth. Starting with classical music, later rock and pop, she eventually came in contact with electronic music. Massive Attack, Trentemoller, Booka Shade, Apparat and many others became her constant companions and keep on inspiring her to this day. In the early days it was the club scene in Basel and later also in Zurich that fueled her desire for electronic music and luscious tech house beats. She knew that wanted to focus on this in the future. It didn't take long until she was able to work a mixer for the first time, produced her debut mixes and had the croud dancing to her sound at a private event.

This encouraged her to follow her passion, which resulted in her first bookings in 2012. From then on it didn't take long for further arrangements to come her way. Today, you can hear her play in the best clubs in Zurich as well as in cities around Europe, including cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Istanbul and Vienna.

Since 2013, she is one of the resident DJs and member at Naturklang and is regularly playing their events in Switzerland and abroad.

Since 2016, she is a also a resident of the Hive Club in Zurich and the Label Cityfox from New York.

Matija ist ein weitgereister Herr: Aus der Aargauer Provinz, wo er seine musikalisch ersten (und zweiten) Schritte tat, zog es Ihn in den Strassendschungel der Deutschen Hauptstadt Berlin, wo er 6 Jahre blieb und sein Handwerk vertiefte. Zusammen mit seinem damaligen Mitbewohner Dave Dinger ist er um die Häuser gezogen und hat mit ihm Clubs wie die Bar25 etc. gerockt.

Und wenn man es in Berlin schafft, dann nimmt man klein-Zürich im Sturm: Matija setzte nach seiner Rückkehr zur Eroberung der Schweizer Szeni-Metropole an. Mit Erfolg: Nach Partyreihen im Supermarket, Hive (und anderen Clubs) arbeitete er jahrelang als Night-Manager im Zürcher Hive-Club und spielt in Diesem immernoch als Resident fleissig weiter.

Als ehemaliger Night-Manager von Frieda's Büxe und Hive, ist er mittlerweile seit 22 Jahren schweizweit und oft auch international, unter anderem mit Dave Dinger, als Dj unterwegs und sorgt mit seinen Sets immer wider für für den gewissen Leckerbissen auf den Dancefloors.

Manuel Moreno zählt zu den grossen Geschichtenerzählern des elektronischen Undergrounds. Als Produzent und DJ nimmt er sein Publikum mit auf eine Reise, die inspiriert ist von seiner langjährigen Beziehung zur Musik. Einer Amour fou – intensiv, leidenschaftlich und kompromisslos. Diese Gefühlswelt transportiert er seit Jahren erfolgreich auf die Tanzflächen.

Seine eigene Geschichte beginnt 1996 mit illegalen Aufnahmen aus Zürcher Clubs. Rhythmus, Groove, Lichter und tanzende Menschen verbinden Spass mit tiefschürfenden Emotionen. Heute ist er selbst prägender Bestandteil dieser Verbindung. Ob nun in seiner Homebase, der Zürcher Club-Institution «Hive», oder bei seinen regelmässigen Auftritten in der Techno-Metropole Berlin: Manuel Moreno versucht stets diese magischen Impulse zu erzeugen, die Stunden auf der Tanzfläche in spezielle und bleibende Momente verwandeln.

«Die Kommunikation mit dem Publikum ist mir besonders wichtig», sagt Manuel. Dabei spiele es keine Rolle, ob 30 oder 5000 Menschen tanzen würden. «Wenn ich das Gefühl habe, eins zu werden mit dem Publikum, ist es für mich ein erfolgreicher Auftritt.»

Diesem Gefühl jagt er rund um den Globus nach. Sein unverkennbarer, atmosphärischer Stil bringt ihn, um einige Metropolen zu nennen, nach Bangkok, Moskau, Kiew, Lissabon, Ibiza, Prag und Kapstadt.

Den Ausgleich findet Manuel Moreno in der Ruhe seiner Appenzeller Heimat. Umgeben von der malerischen Bergkulisse lässt er sich für seine Produktionen inspirieren: Düster und doch verträumt, geprägt von einer hypnotisierenden Melancholie. Seine Tracks und Remixe erscheinen auf «Global Underground», «Ritter Butzke Studio», «8Bit», «Hive Audio», «Musik Gewinnt Freunde», «Stil vor Talent» usw.

Beim Produzieren verfolgt Manuel Moreno einen spielerischen und forschenden Ansatz. Er beginnt mit einem Beat, der schichtweise um weitere Soundebenen ergänzt und weiterentwickelt wird, bis am Ende eine komplexe Klangwelt entsteht. Dabei bleibt er stets dem tiefen Berlinsound verpflichtet. Gleichzeitig wirken seine Produktionen so klar wie die Bergluft im Alpstein.
