To round off this special treat and new-trip-around-the-sun celebration, we've gathered an ultimate cluster of talents who've been at the heart of our club and label's success over the years and shall keep it ticking into the next. 

Opening festivities, Moroccan producer Amine K dishes out a most speaking sample of his floor sweeping abilities with the big-room-oriented "Hecate": an infinitely cascading, hypnotically entrancing sharp-shooter primed for massive traction thru and thru. 

True to their all-embracing approach, fellow Zürich-based outfit Animal Trainer switch the focus onto Afro-informed polyrhythms, fusing soulful choirs and kalimba chords with future-ready bass moves, panpipes and poignant strings on a cinematic tip. 

Brooklyn's very own Djuma Soundsystem is next with the hauntingly deep "Kazika", featuring the multi-talented Marc Grebber - a slice of pure shadow-clad hoodooism tinged with polyphonic onslaughts and shamanic incantations for good measure. 

For his part, Stil vor Talent head honcho Oliver Koletzki graces us with the heart-breaking "Same Old Loop Shit", a delicate hybrid of luminescent synthwaves and hip-hop-laced house better tasted at sunset time on the rooftop, with a fresh cocktail in hand and your loved one by your side. 

Punching in with the further low-key and intimate "Survival", Mexico's one and only Robbie Akbal takes us for an exquisitely lush and vivid ride across sensual electronic scapes, fleshing it out with hints of Latin, folk-indebted guitars and tropes. 

Back to a gung-ho kind of mindset, Seth Schwarz tops this final leg with the brutally jagged "Marco Polo", a straight-out tonking piece of electro-shocking bass music, tailored to knock askew every raver in its wake.

Coming at you with his very first release on Hive Audio is SOAME, a Zurich-based producer who has been picking up traction releasewise in the past three or four years despite being a veteran in the Swiss party scene in which he's been actively involved in for way more than a decade. For his label debut we see SOAME teaming up with British vocalist Jinadu, a creative force who's been working alongside masters like Kirk DiGiorgio, Jimpster, Fred Everything and many others in the past.

Their original version of „Sun“ is an immaculate amalgamation of deep, athmospheric, yet sparse TechHouse and captivating, soulful and touching, partly even longing vocals, predestined to stand out as unquestioned highlight in every groove-bound DJ set for now and an ongoing eternity being an instant classic that is about to stand the test of time.

On remix duties for „Sun“ is Dario D'Attis, a longtime friend and staple within the Hive Audio roster. His take on the original keeps track of the deep, soulful vibe whilst, adds a new rolling bassline motif and a swinging, hyper-seductive groove that provides a little more of a pump for buzzing dancefloors and crowds already floating a few inches above the ground.

Finally SOAME delivers his own personal re-lick of „Sun“ with his so-called 'Gypsy Mix'. Taking on another angle we see the track being transferred into a new, still deep, yet partly even balearic context, bringing on panoramic arrangements touched by big time melancholia and the beauty of a sinking sun turning into a fireball whilst touching the endless horizon and the calm swell inherent to big ocean waters.

Bringing on a fresh new vibe with his addition to the Hive Audio roster is Mirko Hensel, known and loved for being a part of the duo that is Channel X and rocking things sole under his Jiggler alias with releases on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Budenzauber and Katermukke amongst other. For his label debut he weighs in two original tracks plus an additional remix take that surely will be heard on dancefloors on a regular throughout this year for a reason.

Opening with "Serenity“ Jiggler presents a well-balanced menu of dark'ish, yet uplifting TechHouse based upon an overwhelming foundation of droning sawtooth bass paired with driving percussions and spiralling vintage modulations perfectly complementing siren'esque sounds and trancey, large scale breakdowns for a perfectly lift-off from a heaving and bubbling dancefloor.

With their remix for the title track we've got Danito & Athina on a more pounding, prime-time focused tip borderlining technoid areas whilst staying true to the originals bass heavy feel, adding spatial vibes, a mystical main motif and quite a few progressive elements to come up with an extremely powerful tool for the darkest late night hours out on the floor.

Finally "Ahead" sees Jiggler combine a masterly sculpted, precise bassdrum pump with a seductively rolling, slighty disco-infused bassline, topped by an ever moving, classy and super hypnotic Tech motif perfectly playing along the tunes warping atmospheres and thrilling out of space attitude inducing next level madness to each and everyone experiencing this one being blasted to a solid rig.

Making a return for his third single release shot on Hive Audio, alongside many remixes and compilation features that is SOAME. For his latest outing, the „Honey EP“, the prolific Zurich-based producer teams up with Animor on vocal duties, delivering good vibes and proper deep grooves for dancefloors worldwide.

The original version of the title track „Honey“ brings on pure vibes and late night mystique, meandering in between Deep- and TechHouse, providing a untouched naturalistic atmosphere, progressive, spatial bass works and – as it tunes' center piece – a set of ever floating, ethereal vocals delivered by Animor which makes the tune stand out in every selection, especially due to its tender, caressing and beautifully stretched breakdown sequence.

Definition on remix duties transfers „Honey“ to a playful, caressing early morning level, adding large scale panoramic strings and intricate, interweaving melodic elements perfectly matching Animor's distinct vocals and turning this remix into a tune to play throughout the very minutes before sunrise, sending entire dancefloors to ecstatic heavens filled with nothing but love.

Coming in fresh for the summer season with their third outing on Hive Audio is the Swiss duo named Sous Sol with a follow up to their massive „Taonga EP“. Bringing forth two new original tracks and a remix by Romanian electronic music staple Mihai Popoviciu, their new release the „Dizzy Rhythm EP“, fully lives up the pairings high quality standards and is soon to be heard on a dancefloor near you.

Opening with the title track „Dizzy Rhythm“ Sous Sol are employing a deep, tribalistic vibe for a start,  fusing intricate, complex percussion lines with a seductive TechHouse groove and masterly crafted synth arrangements bringing forth a well balanced amount of mystique and drive ideal for intimate late settings as well as epic moments throughout large scale sunrise sessions.

On a remix tip for „Dizzy Rhythm“ is no-one less than Mihai Popoviciu. The Romanian Techno legend who's left a trail of releases on high quality labels like International Deejay Gigolo, Poker Flat Recordings, Bedrock Records and many more over the years turns towards a more dancefloor focused  approach in his rework, strips things down a little, adds quite a distinct, stoic hi-hat whilst staying true to a certain, dreamlike and well trance inducing feel for an ultimate lift-off.

Finally „Hazy Vision“ sees Sous Sol on a well funky tip, once again bringing forth masterly crafted percussion vibes alongside a classic uplifting pad motif harking back to a mid-90s House vibe accompanied by large scale build-ups and the duos trademark mysticism, all falling into place to channel dancefloor energies towards a huge, and surely inevitable, climax.

For the title track „We Got Time“ we see David Aurel teaming up with vocalist Rion S to cater a sexy, uberly seductive House / TechHouse fusion on a jack tip, bringing on rolling, ultimate heat to each and every dancefloor all around the globe paired with distinct, slightly tribal'esque percussions and stripped down Acid references. Ten years. More than 100 releases and way more than 250 tracks. This is what the Hive Audio crew is looking back on in 2k20, celebrating their first two digit anniversary in 2k20 with the release of a massive compilation album in four parts which caters all together a set of 25 all time label classics created by long time friends and label associates as well as outstanding new talent all coming together under the flag of what we call „The First 10 Years Hive Audio“.

With this being said, the selection featuring on „The First 10 Years Hive Audio Part One to Four“, both as individual tracks as well as continuous bonus DJ mixes by Animal Trainer and Dario D'Attis on Part Three and Four, perfectly reflects the sound, setting and overall attitude of Hive Audio as a label in 2k20 and beyond, presenting both an outlook and overview of contemporary Zeitgeist and a bright future that lies ahead. To the next decade!

Responsible for the opener of the third part of our tenth anniversary compilation „The First 10 Years – Part Three“ is Einzelkind who is calling for a „Blackout“, weighing in a hefty, Breakbeat-infused House groove as well as a distinct, bleepy and minimalist synth motif before employing wild vocal filter techniques and brutal build-ups for the pumping high energy House crew on peaktime dancefloors.

For their second contribution to this part of the compilation album Sous Sol give us „Taonga“, a prime example of deep, athmospheric, percussive TechHouse grooves paired with seductive large scale synths, Tribal chants and well intermingling melodies.

Furthermore the artistic pairing of Definition featuring Pete Josef is in for „Caught Out“, a tune which has been remixed by Swiss staple Dario D'Attis. His take on the original cut brings forth interesting, ever repeating loop structures alongside raw vintage bass synths, sparkling, crystalline sonic clouds and an impressively longing, timeless vocal performance for most emotional experiences out on the dancefloor.

Next up on remix duty is Matthias Meyer who's taking over controls for a variation of Reto Ardour's „Bonfire“ which is a well sexy, timeless amalgamation of TechHouse and MinimalFunk defined by a hypnotic, spatial and dreamlike attitude as well as by hot, ever functional grooves.

With the next tune Definition is going all in for a remix, presenting his personal variation of „Honey“ by SOAME featuring Animor, presenting a panoramic vision of large scale TechHouse harmonies in combination with heartfelt, tender, emotional vocals for a result.

Up next we see Dario D'Attis tune „There's A“ reworked by Gorge, bringing forth a well positive uptempo attitude and gooey, somewhat Acid infused modulations for all lovers of timeless Techno and neverending nights out.

With „Orient Yourself“ the man Moses Mehdi gets back into the groove with loose percussion bits, masterly crafted filter breakdowns and a, well... , slightly Oriental vibe alongside decent glitch cut ups, perfectly fusing East and West within one tune and a little more than six minutes.

Finally Dario D'Attis & David Aurel are in for a closing with their cut „Cuentame“, waving goodbye with a very special take on Global Beats comprised of Balearic vocals and a warm, positive TechHouse swing for those in the know.

Mar Dean - Come with Me EP // 

Coming in for a full on Hive Audio label debut after already contributing a track to our „Summer Slices Compilation 2018“ is Mar Dean, another long standing activist from the Swiss underground now aiming at international dancefloors with his „Come With Me EP“ release.

Opening with the title track „Come With Me“ Mar Dean approaches high energy Tech House in a truly uplifting fashion, draws inspiration from classic HardBag build-ups and finally triggers ecstatic crowd reaction with a rolling monster of a bassline accompanied by masterly crafted melodic elements in motion. A true banger with a slightly progressive twist.

Dealing with „Volcano Pigs“ we see Mar Dean coming from a slightly different angle, catering a stompy, well sculpted and defo more Techno-leaning foundation drumwise before opening things up with intricate melodic interplay and slightly dubbed out House stabs, hard filtered vocal samples and ghostly FX for spine-tingling moments on the dancefloor.

Teaming up with vocalist Nicole, Mar Dean is in for serious „Euphoria“ caused by hyper-harmonic, somewhat melancholia inducing chord progressions in combination with emotionally touching storytelling – all falling together to form the most beautiful electronic love song you've heard in ages.

Finally German producer Ron Flatter is in for a remix treatment, transforming and reshaping „Euphoria“ into a captivating, ever cascading Tech House anthem infused with huge harmonic basslines, angelic pads and a big portion of ravey, intense vibes for an ultimate peaktime takeoff. It's been about a year since the Swiss duo Sous Sol unleashed their „Dizzy Rhythm EP“ on Hive Audio throughout the summer of 2k19 and now we're more than pleased to announce the return of the rising producers who once again teamed up in the studio to come at us with their latest musical outing dubbed the „I’m Back EP“.

With „I'm Back“ Sous Sol provide a good portion of their uplifting trademark House goodness and dancefloor joy, exciting ecstatic crowds with a playful melodic approach, heavy snare rolls and a classic, crooning and well seductive choice of male vocal samples whilst sparkling synth melodies and glitzy chords cut through, aiming straight at the center of every joyful dancers soul.

Furthermore the tunes' second variation, the „I'm Back (LondonGround Remix)“, caters an alternative to Sous Sol's original reading and interpretation, leaning well towards a sharper, pumping TechHouse tone, precisely sculpted bass groove and stripped down overall approach, bringing in only a few essential, slightly blurred out, ethereal atmospheric elements as well as a brand new, distinct and somewhat percussive, hammering main motif for ultimate dancefloor impact.

Finally not in for an everyday sound with the EP's title track as well the pair goes all in with  „Everyday“ though, a bouncy, pounding and well uplifting House ride mixing a buzzing live party atmosphere with lively, Funk-induced licks and synthesizers as well seductive stab tones and a sweet little microcut vocal samples screaming nothing but GROOVE in capital letters. A truly timeless and positive cut, this.
