Up next on Liquid Drop Groove series is Mexican DJ, producer, and label owner, RICARDO GARDUNO.

Born and raised in Mexico, Ricardo Garduno, is no stranger to the global Techno underworld. Besides running his successful Techno imprint, Illegal Alien Records, he’s had numerous successful productions on some of the most reputable Techno labels around the world such as, Brood Audio, Sleaze Records, Driving Forces, Impact Mechanics and Machine Box just to name a few. His music can be described as a perfect blend of organic and distorted twisted Techno! The deep, hypnotic grooves and unique kick drums pull you in and destroy any dance floor that they are dropped on! Ricardo’s music is heavily played and supported by the likes of Dave Clarke, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, Dubfire and Richie Hawtin to name a few. Besides his successful Techno moniker, Ricardo has a second alias as “Xordo”, which explores the more experimental Minimal/Tech House genres. The biggest accomplishment of this project so far was last year as he released his first EP on Dubfire’s SCI+TEC label. He is also part of the duo Pitchverb with Andre Ramos.

Ever since attending Rainbow Serpent Festival for the first time in 2011; it has been a dream of mine to perform a Techno DJ set at this wonderful festival. 

This year I got the chance to play a sunrise set on the Sunset Stage at 6:30am on Saturday morning and man was it a trip. 

Thanks so much to the organisers for allowing me to contribute to this magical place that I've attended without fail for 9 years in a row and has given me so much on so many levels.

With his dark and minimalistic Techno sound, the Spanish DJ and producer Emilio Rozalen a.k.a. Rosper got his way to Dubfire's SCI+TEC, where he got several releases including one for the 10th anniversary of the legendary label. Another career highlight is his presence in Richie Hawtin's CLOSE Combined compilation with the track Artificial Technology, which is the opening one of the audiovisual project. Rosper has been a resident in Barraca Club in his home country for 5 years and performed in venues like Pacha Barcelona, Freqs Of Nature festival in Berlin and also did several tours outside of Europe.
